BONNIE DALE DR., 13400 block, 1:30 p.m. Nov. 6. A man who had been on a residence's patio accosted a woman inside and knocked her down when she tried to close and lock her sliding glass door. The assailant fled.
FIRST ST., 1200 block, 9:14 p.m. Nov. 10. A man forced his way into a residence after a woman heard a noise outside and opened the door. The man pulled out a handgun, assaulted the resident and two others and fled.
ROBBERIESCONGRESSIONAL LANE, 200 block, 8:55 p.m. Nov. 10. Three males accosted a man, assaulted him, took property and fled.
HUNGERFORD DR., 500 block, 11:07 p.m. Nov. 11. A female youth accosted a female in a hallway, implied she had a weapon, took property and fled.
MCARTHUR DR., 400 block, 1 a.m. Nov. 4. Two men accosted a man, took property and fled.
ROCKVILLE PIKE, 200 block, 7:24 p.m. Nov. 19. A female accosted a man waiting for a bus at a Metro station, asked him for a cigarette and then for cash. When the man refused, several males approached and assaulted the man, took property and fled. A Germantown man, 19, was arrested and charged with strong-arm robbery.
VEIRS MILL RD., 1300 block, 8:10 p.m. Nov. 5. A man in a group of five males assaulted a man, took property and fled.

ROBBERIESCASTLE BLVD., 14000 block, 6:46 p.m. Nov. 7. Two men, one armed with a gun, accosted two male pedestrians. When one of the pedestrians ran away, one of the men shot at him. The man was not injured. The assailants took property from the remaining pedestrian and fled.
CLAUDE LANE, 14900 block, 10:37 p.m. Nov. 7. A man attacked a resident in his driveway, took cash and fled.
FAIRLAND RD., 3100 block, 4:05 a.m. Nov. 9. Two males accosted an elderly man, knocked him to the ground, took property and fled.
GEORGIA AVE. AND BLAIR MILL RD., 10 a.m. Nov. 10. A man accosted a female pedestrian, yelled at her and demanded cash. The female complied, and the assailant fled.
LAYHILL RD., 12700 block, 4:30 a.m. Nov. 9. A person got into a cab and asked to borrow the driver's cellphone. The passenger threatened and tried to choke the driver and fled with the driver's property.
NORTHAMPTON DR., 800 block, 10:47 a.m. Nov. 4. Two males knocked on the door of a residence and forced their way in when a woman opened the door. They took property and fled.
SANDY HOLLOW CT., 1100 block, 7 p.m. Nov. 6. A male ran up to a male pedestrian walking across a ballfield and stole his jacket. Several others pulled up in a vehicle, took property from the pedestrian and fled.
STEWART LANE, 11500 block, 4:34 p.m. Nov. 6. A man accosted a female pedestrian, knocked her to the ground, took property and fled. A man, 20, was arrested and charged with strong-arm robbery.

ASSAULTSMONROE AND EAST JEFFERSON STREETS, 11:20 to 11:23 p.m. Nov. 14. A Gaithersburg man, 19, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, making a false statement to a police officer, failing to obey a lawful order, disorderly conduct and several traffic violations after being stopped for a traffic violation.
WEAPONS ARRESTSMANNAKEE ST., 100 block, 4:32 p.m. Nov. 10. A man, 18, was arrested and charged with possession of a concealed weapon, a hatchet, and resisting arrest.
MARYLAND AVE., 10100 block, 8:42-9 p.m. Nov. 15. Two male youths, 17, were arrested. One was charged with possession of a concealed dangerous weapon, a BB gun, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The other was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A video game console with a controller, several video games, a BB gun with laser site, a digital music player, a set of ear buds, a laptop, a knife, a personal digital assistant, cash, jewelry, a screw gun and an electric saw were stolen from a residence that someone entered by breaking through a rear door.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 800 block, 11:56 p.m. Nov. 12. A woman, 49, was arrested and charged with shoplifting.
ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1700 block, 5 p.m. Nov. 14 to 7:45 a.m. Nov. 17. Four digital cameras, a projector and a laptop computer were stolen from an office suite entered by force.
SCOTT DR., 1100 block, 4 to 5:10 p.m. Nov. 12. A laptop with charger, cash, a camera, a camcorder, a video game console with controller and a video game were stolen from a residence.
SHETLAND ST., 700 block, 7 p.m. Nov. 13 to 8:45 a.m. Nov. 14. A vehicle's tires were stolen.
SILVER ROCK RD., 300 block, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 9. Someone attempted to enter a residence by forcing open windows.
SOUTHLAWN LANE, 1 to 100 block, 8 p.m. Nov. 17 to 12:10 a.m. Nov. 18. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from a vehicle.
VANDEGRIFT AVE., 5900 block, 11 p.m. Nov. 10 to 8 a.m. Nov. 11. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from a vehicle.
VEIRS MILL RD., 2200 block, 10:20 to 10:25 a.m. Nov. 14. Two packs of diapers and a gift bag were stolen from a retail store.
WASHINGTON ST. N., 200 block, 12:30 a.m. Nov. 16 to 7:30 a.m. Nov. 17. A computer was stolen from an apartment complex rental office that someone entered by breaking the lock on a sliding glass door.
FIRST ST., 700 block, 10 p.m. Nov. 15 to 10 a.m. Nov. 16. Cash and a cash register were stolen from a restaurant that someone entered by breaking through a rear door.

ASSAULTSFLOWER AVE., 8600 block, 3:48 a.m. Nov. 14. A man was arrested and charged with assault, and a female acquaintance was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
LEE AVE., 100 block, 10:41 p.m. Nov. 17. A man was arrested on a charge of second-degree assault.
MAPLE AND LEE AVENUES, 2:50 p.m. Nov. 17. A person pushed to the ground a female acquaintance who had just gotten off the bus. A group of females then assaulted the female.
MERRIMAC DR., 900 block, 10:07 p.m. Nov. 14. Five males accosted a male pedestrian, punched him and fled.
ROBBERIESEASTERN AVE., 6800 block, 9:13 p.m. Nov. 16. A masked male accosted a person who was attempting to open a door with a key, grabbed property and fled.
THEFTS/BREAK-INSBOYD AVE., 400 block, 8 p.m. Nov. 13 to 8 a.m. Nov. 14. Property was stolen from a vehicle.
LINCOLN AVE., 500 block, 8 p.m. Nov. 15. Property was stolen from a residence that someone entered by force.
MISSISSIPPI AVE., 400 block, 8 a.m. Nov. 17 to 7:15 p.m. Nov. 19. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.
NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE. AND UNIVERSITY BLVD., 1:13 a.m. Nov. 17. A man was arrested and charged with theft under $100.
ROANOKE AVE., 8300 block, 11 to 11:30 p.m. Nov. 15. A vehicle was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTSCONWAY AVE., 6700 block, noon Nov. 12 to 10 a.m. Nov. 14. A 1997 Acura CL was stolen.
