Barbara Bush Out of the Hospital
HOUSTON -- Former first lady Barbara Bush was released from a hospital one week after she underwent surgery for a perforated ulcer.
Rezko Sentencing Set for Jan. 6
CHICAGO -- A federal judge set a Jan. 6 sentencing for political fundraiser Antoin "Tony" Rezko, who helped bankroll campaigns for Barack Obama and Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich. Rezko was convicted in June on charges of using clout with Blagojevich's administration to help launch a $7 million kickback scheme.
