Il Faggeto Prosecco di Valdobbiadene
Italy, $20

Aromatic with floral aromas and tree fruits (peaches, apricot) and some melon. This delightful wine puts excitement in prosecco.

Washington Wholesale: available in the District at De Vinos, D'Vines.

Canella Prosecco Brut
* 1/2
Italy, $16

Crisp and refreshing, with melon flavors and a nice finish.

Bacchus: available in the District at Cairo Wine & Liquor, Bacchus Wine Cellar; on the list at Notti Bianche.

Rebuli Prosecco
Italy, $14

Toasty, which makes this a little more champagnelike and perhaps more familiar to consumers. Nice balance; quite refreshing.

Kysela: available in the District at Calvert Woodley, Pearson's; available in Virginia at Arrowine in Arlington, Cork & Fork in Gainesville, Rick's Wine & Gourmet in Alexandria, Whole Foods Market in Tysons Corner and Reston, some Total Wine & More locations.

Juve y Camps Cava Reserva de la Familia Brut Nature
(Good Value)

Intriguing aromas of autumn: wood and berries. More complex than most cavas.

Winebow: available in the District at Bell Wine & Spirits, De Vinos, Wagshall's; on the list at Jaleo, PS 7's, Veritas and Vinoteca.
