SEXUAL ASSAULTS

RANDOLPH AND VEIRS MILL RDS., 8 p.m. Nov. 22. A man sexually assaulted a female acquaintance in a residence.

ASSAULTS

GRUENTHER AVE., 1600 block, 9 p.m. Nov. 21. A man got into an argument with a female acquaintance and threatened her and two roommates with a sharp object. A man, 19, was charged with aggravated assault. No injuries were reported.

ROBBERIES

BEALL AVE. AND N. WASHINGTON ST., 11 to 11:59 p.m. Nov. 21. Two males walked to a park with a male they had just met at a movie theater and took his wallet. The victim reported the incident Nov. 22.

DARNESTOWN RD., 12100 block, 7:26 p.m. Nov. 19. A masked gunman robbed a beer-and-wine store.

BRADLEY AVE., 300 block, 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 20. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

THOREAUX DR., 8100 block, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 20. Property was stolen from a residence.

TILDEN LANE, 6300 block, 2 a.m. Nov. 21. A business was entered. A man was charged with commercial burglary. A second man has been identified in connection with the incident.

WEST VIRGINIA AVE., 4500 block, 12:30 a.m. Nov. 24. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

WISCONSIN AVE., 5500 block, 4:15 p.m. Nov. 21. A man entered a commercial delivery truck by force, took property and fled.

MARBURY ROAD, 6 p.m. Nov. 23 to 9:45 a.m. Nov. 24. A 2004 Toyota, a 2008 Chevy, and a 2002 Toyota were stolen.

PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

JANUARY DR., 1700 block, 8:20 a.m. Nov. 17. A man was seen looking into a window of a residence. When confronted, he said he was an employee of a company and fled.

ROBBERIES

EASTERN AVE., 8100 block, 9:58 p.m. Nov. 21. A man wearing a black jacket with a fur collar grabbed a female pedestrian, implied that he had a weapon and robbed her of property.

GREY CASTLE WAY AND ROYAL CREST DR., 10:40 P.M. Nov. 22. A male knocked a woman to the ground, robbed her of property and fled.

ISLINGTON ST., 800 block, 6:15 p.m. Nov. 19. Two males grabbed a pedestrian, knocked her to the ground and fled with property.

PINEY BRANCH RD., 9300 block, 8:46 p.m. Nov. 18. Two men grabbed a pedestrian and tried to pull him into a stairwell at knifepoint. When the victim screamed, the assailants fled.

TECH RD., 12200 block, 12:30 a.m. Nov. 25. An armed male demanded cash from a man in a parking lot. When the victim showed the assailant an empty wallet, he fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CANNON RD., 900 block, 9:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Nov. 17. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

CARONA PL., 400 block, 2 to 3 a.m. Nov. 21. A person tried to enter a residence by force. When an occupant was awakened, the intruder fled. Nothing was reported missing.

CASTLE BLVD., 13800 block, 7:30 a.m. Nov. 19 to 7:30 a.m. Nov. 20, and 10:25 to 10:30 a.m. Nov. 20. A burglary occurred at a residence. A few hours later, two men were seen trying to enter again. They fled empty-handed.

CHERRY HILL RD., 12000 block, 3 to 4 p.m. Nov. 22. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

COLERIDGE DR., 2300 block, 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 19. Property was stolen from a residence.

ROBBERIES

ARCOLA AND GALT AVENUES, Nov. 18. Two men accosted a male pedestrian, assaulted him and demanded cash. The pedestrian resisted, and the robbers fled empty-handed.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 13500 block, 3:45 a.m. Nov. 21. A strong-arm robbery occurred in a restaurant. No further information was available.

HEWITT AVE., 3300 block, 10 p.m. Nov. 22. Four men accosted a male pedestrian and followed him onto an elevator. One of the men assaulted the pedestrian. The men took property and fled.

HOMECREST RD. AND LONGMEAD CROSSING, 8:34 p.m. Nov. 22. A group of six males and females accosted a male youth at a bus stop at gunpoint, assaulted him, took property and fled. A few minutes later, one of the female assailants returned, apologized and returned the property.

UNIVERSITY BLVD., 2700 block, 9:30 p.m. Nov. 21. Two males accosted a woman, robbed her of property and fled.

BEAVERWOOD LANE, 3200 block, 3 a.m. Nov. 19. A male entered a residence by force. Nothing was reported missing.

COLLEGE PARKWAY, 400 block, 2:16 a.m. Dec. 1. A 22-year-old Germantown man and two 21-year-old Gaithersburg men were charged with theft.

CONGRESSIONAL LANE, 200 block, 10:50 a.m. Nov. 24. Someone attempted to enter an apartment by prying open a window.

COURTHOUSE SQ., 1 to 100 block, 10 p.m. Nov. 26 to 12:45 p.m. Nov. 27. Four artificial trees and a table centerpiece were stolen from a lobby at a condominium building.

EDMONSTON DR., 300 block, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 24. A digital music player was stolen from a residence.

FREDERICK AVE., 15100 block, 8 p.m. Nov. 29 to 10 a.m. Nov. 30. A cash register and cash were stolen from a grocery store entered by forcing a front door.

GAITHER RD., 500 block, 2:30 p.m. Nov. 26 to 7 a.m. Dec. 1. An electrical system was stolen from a construction site.

GUDE DR. E., 1600 block, 11:50 p.m. Nov. 23 to 10 a.m. Nov. 24. Cash was stolen from a restaurant entered by forcing a side door.

ROCKLAND AVE., 2300 block, 5 to 10 p.m. Nov. 26. A residence was entered through a front door. The intruder fled empty-handed.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1000 block, 5:10 to 8 p.m. Nov. 28. A digital recorder was stolen from a vehicle.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1500 block, 6:15 p.m. Nov. 30. A hair strengthener, a newspaper, three nasal sprays, a wave cap and a soda were stolen from a retail drug store.

SOUTHLAWN LANE AND E. GUDE DR., 8:28 p.m. Nov. 28. After a traffic stop, two men, ages 42, and 46, were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia.

ROBBERIES

CARROLL AVE., 6900 block, 10:55 a.m. Nov. 28. Three men attacked a man delivering packages. Two of the assailants then drove away in his vehicle, and the other ran to a waiting black Ford Expedition, which also sped away. The commercial vehicle was recovered in the District.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CHANEY AVE., 700 block, 6:30 p.m. Nov. 30 to 9:45 a.m. Dec. 1. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

ELM AVE., 100 block, 9:35 to 11:40 p.m. Nov. 26. Property was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

GRANT AVE., 100 block, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 2. Property was stolen from a residence.
