THANK-YOU NOTES

Dear Heloise: I take a box of thank-you notes with me in my suitcase when we travel. I leave one on the bed when we leave a host's home in the morning. It is just a nice way to "leave" a place. -- Corrinne Berkland, Universal City, Texas

CLIP BOOKMARK

Dear Heloise: I use a large, colored paper clip as a bookmark. It doesn't fall out. If you bend it a little, it doesn't leave a mark on the pages. -- Kitty Harrison, via e-mail
