DO NOT use gas ovens, ranges or clothes dryers to heat your home.

DO NOT leave any gas-operated vehicles running in a garage.

DO NOT burn any type of charcoal inside a tent, garage, vehicle or home.

DO NOT operate a portable generator or other gas-powered tool in any enclosed space (house or garage).

Dear Heloise: I take a box of thank-you notes with me in my suitcase when we travel. I leave one on the bed when we leave a host's home in the morning. It is just a nice way to "leave" a place. -- Corrinne Berkland, Universal City, Texas
