Wizards: C Etan Thomas returned to the team after undergoing a routine checkup on his heart but was inactive after missing two practices and Monday's loss to Indiana. F Oleksiy Pecherov was active for the second straight game.

Pistons: Since the team re-signed veteran F Antonio McDyess, former Wizard Kwame Brown has been in and out of the rotation. Brown had made 12 starts earlier in the season but had failed to get off the bench in three of the previous five games entering last night's game.
