Prosecutors in Hagerstown plan to charge a 15-year-old girl as an adult in an alleged murder plot in the stabbing death of her father.
Washington County State's Attorney Charles Strong says Danielle Black will be served with charging documents at a court hearing Monday afternoon.
She was charged as a juvenile earlier this month with solicitation of first-degree murder in the death of her father, Billy Lee Black.
Prosecutors have said the girl asked a male schoolmate in October to kill her father after telling him her dad had abused her. Investigators say they have found no evidence of abuse.
A third person, 19-year-old Alec Eger, is charged with murdering Billy Black, whose body was found in an alley behind his house on Halloween morning. Prosecutors say Danielle Black was acquainted with Eger.
