Ho-Ho-Hoyas Top Holiday Poll

The Monday of Christmas week is apparently a big day for Division I hoops and a big upset last night could have rendered these rankings moot. More moot than usual, even. But it didn't, so on with the poll.

	1. Georgetown (8-1) 689 (68) Next: Tonight vs. Florida International	The Georgetown School of Foreign Service is offering extra credit to any student who attends tonight's game against Florida International. (Scott Allen)
	2. Maryland (8-2) 604 Next: Saturday vs. Bryant	This Christmas Eve, working late in his office, Gary Williams will be visited by what he believes to be the Ghost of Christmas Past. It will turn out to just be Nik Caner-Medley working the janitorial night shift at the Comcast Center. (Chris Chase)
	3. Virginia Tech (8-4) 449 Next: Monday at Charleston Southern	Won the Aeropostale Holiday Festival in NYC last weekend. Next year they'll play in the Abercrombie & Fitch Tournament, where all the players have to wax their chests and play shirtless. (Markus Videnieks)

	7. Liberty (8-4) 228 Next: Sunday vs. Cincinnati Christian	Saint Louis gained the psychological edge over the Flames when Coach Rick Majerus said that he loved Currys and licked his lips. (Max Wass)
	8. George Washington (5-2) 224 Next: Tonight at Sacramento State	The Colonials will travel more than 4,000 miles this week to play some of the worst teams this nation has to offer. (Ted Gotsch)

	10. Old Dominion (6-3) 133 Next: Dec. 30 vs. Winston-Salem	ODU alum and Cash Cab host Ben Bailey's run at the Improv in February will be premiere of his new one-man show "The Virginia Monologues," featuring all jokes about U-Va. basketball, all the time. (John Albers)
	11. Virginia (4-4) 92 Next: Today vs. Hampton	Close loss to Auburn reminds Virginia fans that Gary Sweating jokes will probably be the season's highlight. (J. Jones)
