MONTGOMERY COUNTY
Teen Pleads Guilty in Weapons Case
A Montgomery County teen pleaded guilty yesterday in a case that captured national attention last summer after authorities said they had searched the home of his friend and found firearms, explosives and a map of Camp David marked with a presidential motorcade route.
Patrick S. Yevsukov, 17, pleaded guilty in circuit court to two counts of manufacture or possession of a destructive device, one count of unauthorized access to a computer and one count of theft of less than $100.
His attorney, Rene Sandler, said his client never intended to hurt anyone. Yevsukov, a senior at Gaithersburg High School, is scheduled to be sentenced in May. Court guidelines suggest a sentence ranging from probation to four years in prison.
His co-defendant, Collin McKenzie-Gude, faces federal and state charges.

2 Men Stabbed in Damascus Area
Two men were stabbed last night in a house in the Damascus area of Montgomery County, and three men were being questioned in connection with the attack, police said.
Police said the attack occurred about 9 p.m. on Johnson Drive and followed an altercation two weeks ago between two groups of young men. Capt. Ray Hanson, the police duty commander, said gangs were not involved.
