ASSAULTS

SHADY GROVE RD., 16000 block, 3:30 p.m. Dec. 29. Yelling and cursing, a male created a disturbance at a flooring business. He was asked to leave and then twice tried to strike a person with his vehicle, allegedly because he saw the person write down his license plate number. He then drove away. The man was later arrested.

ROBBERIES

SHADY GROVE RD., 16100 block, 1:39 a.m. Dec. 25. Three men in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant attacked a man and robbed him of cash. The assailants fled on foot.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CALIFORNIA CIR., 6000 block, Dec. 28 to Dec. 29. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.

DARNESTOWN RD., 10000 block, Dec. 24 to Dec. 26. An attempt was made to enter an art studio by force.

DEWEY RD., 11800 block, Dec. 26 to Dec. 27. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.

ELMCROFT BLVD., 800 block, Dec. 23 to Dec. 24. Property was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

ERTTER DR., Dec. 28 to Dec. 29. A pair of sunglasses and several CDs were stolen from a vehicle.

FREDERICK RD., 16200 block, 6:53 p.m. Dec. 23. Speakers were stolen from a car in a hotel parking lot entered by breaking a window. Based on a witness account, an arrest was made.
