Epiphanny Prince scored 29 points, including going 12 for 12 from the free throw line, to help No. 23 Rutgers snap a three-game losing streak with a 60-51 victory over host Villanova last night.

Khadijah Rushdan added 10 rebounds and Kia Vaughn had nine points and eight rebounds for the Scarlet Knights (9-5, 1-2 Big East), who entered with losses in their first two conference games for the first time since joining the Big East in the 1995-96 season.

Rutgers beat the Wildcats (9-7, 1-2) for the seventh straight time.

· LOUISVILLE 76, SOUTH FLORIDA 60: Brandie Radde scored 19 points and Angel McCoughtry added 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead the No. 7 Cardinals over the Bulls (14-4, 1-3 Big East) on the road.

Louisville (17-1, 4-0) also got 16 points and 10 rebounds from Candyce Bingham.

· TEXAS 74, NEBRASKA 60: Ashleigh Fontenette scored a career-high 21 points to lead the No. 16 Longhorns over the visiting Cornhuskers (9-6, 0-2 Big 12).

Kathleen Nash had 20 points and six rebounds, and sparked a late first-half surge for Texas (13-3, 1-1).

· BAYLOR 68, IOWA STATE 57: Danielle Wilson scored eight of her 18 points for the No. 5 Lady Bears in a game-turning run before halftime and Baylor (14-1, 2-0 Big 12) won in Waco, Tex., for its eighth straight victory.

Iowa State (13-3, 1-1) hit 10 of 16 three-pointers in the second half after making only two before the break.
