Mara Freshour scored a season-high 21 points and No. 18 Florida State upset third-ranked Duke, 82-75, in overtime last night in Tallahassee to grab sole possession of first place in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

The Seminoles (18-4, 6-0 ACC) erased a six-point deficit in the final 45 seconds to get the game to overtime while winning their ninth straight and ending Duke's 15-game win streak.

Freshour's three-pointer from the left side with 21.6 seconds left sent the game into overtime, and she added another three-pointer to spark the win. She also scored seven points in the final 4 minutes 14 seconds of the half that pulled Florida State to within three at halftime.

Duke (17-2, 5-1) was led by Jasmine Thomas's 16 points.

· GEORGIA 67, AUBURN 58: Angel Robinson scored 17 points to help the host Bulldogs hand the fifth-ranked Tigers their first loss of the season.

Christy Marshall had 15 points and Angela Puleo added 10 as Georgia (14-7, 4-2 Southeastern Conference) won its third straight, including consecutive games against top 25 teams. The Bulldogs beat then-No. 17 Vanderbilt last week.

Auburn's loss left No. 1 Connecticut (20-0) as the nation's only remaining unbeaten team. The Huskies play at Georgetown tomorrow.

DeWanna Bonner had 27 points and Sherell Hobbs had 11 for the Tigers (20-1, 5-1).

· CALIFORNIA 64, UCLA 48: Ashley Walker overcame a sluggish first half to score 17 points, Devanei Hampton added 11 points and 12 rebounds and the No. 7 Golden Bears (17-2, 8-0 Pac-10) handled the Bruins (14-5, 5-3) in Berkeley, Calif.

Doreena Campbell (Edison) scored a team-high 13 points for UCLA.
