Color of Money CHALLENGE09

Sunday, February 8, 2009

Have you lost all hope of managing your finances? Are you staring at bills, wondering whom to pay and what to let roll into next month?

This year's Color of Money Challenge will focus on local individuals and couples who are struggling with personal finances because of a recent job loss or home foreclosure. For one year, Michelle Singletary will follow selected participants who desperately want to get their financial lives in order.

Write to her and tell your financial story. Please note -- you will have to share personal financial information, which may be included in a series of columns throughout the year. If you live in the Washington metropolitan area, send an e-mail detailing your resolution for the New Year to colorofmoney@washpost.comby Sunday, Feb. 15. Please put "2009 Color of Money Challenge" in the subject line and include your name, address, daytime and evening telephone numbers.
