Lyndra Littles scored 13 of her 17 points in the first half yesterday to help the No. 19 Virginia Cavaliers rout Longwood, 88-50, in Charlottesville.
Kristen London hit three three-pointers en route to a career-high 15 points. Ariana Moorer also had 15 for Virginia (18-4), which has won three straight games.
Monica Wright scored all 13 of her points in the first half as the Cavaliers jumped out to a 55-25 advantage at the break and cruised to the victory.
Becky Fernandez scored 14 points to lead the Lancers (6-14).
· TEXAS 58, BAYLOR 55: Kathleen Nash had 11 points and 10 rebounds and the visiting No. 16 Longhorns bounced back from consecutive blowout losses to beat the No. 4 Lady Bears.
Texas (15-5, 3-3 Big 12) lost by 20 to No. 2 Oklahoma on Jan. 24 and by 14 to No. 11 Texas A&M on Wednesday.
Baylor (17-3, 5-2), which lost to No. 2 Oklahoma on Wednesday, dropped two straight home games for the first time since the 1999-2000 season.
Danielle Wilson had 18 points and 10 rebounds and Jhasmin Player added 12 points for the Lady Bears.
· AUBURN 66, LSU 55: Alli Smalley scored 21 points, hitting all five of her three-point attempts, and the No. 5 Lady Tigers bounced back from their only loss of the season with a victory over the Tigers in Baton Rouge.
Smalley made three quick threes to open the second half and help Auburn (22-1, 6-1 Southeastern Conference) turn a five-point halftime deficit into a 32-30 lead.
Kristen Morris led LSU (11-8, 4-3) with 14 points but left the game with 1:07 to go after twisting her left knee.
