IRONFORGE CT., 7700 block, 10:45 a.m. Jan. 13. A person was attacked by several people and hit with a pipe.

ROBBERIES

ALEUTIAN AVE., 13200 block, 10:15 p.m. Jan. 21. A man visiting an acquaintance robbed another visitor to the home at knifepoint.

SIGSBEE RD., 4500 block, 8:15 p.m. Jan. 18. Two men stopped a pedestrian and demanded cash. After searching her wallet, the assailants fled empty-handed.

TWINBROOK PKWY. AND VEIRS MILL RD., 10:32 p.m. Jan. 15. Two men robbed a man of property at gunpoint.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

AMELUNG LANE, 15700 block, Jan. 13 to Jan. 14. A coat, a briefcase, a laptop computer, a camera and other items were stolen from three vehicles entered by breaking windows.

HIALEAH WAY N., 12500 block, Jan. 19 to Jan. 20. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.

HOBBLE BUSH CT., 17000 block, Jan. 13 to Jan. 14. A cellphone and a pair of binoculars were stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.

HUNGERFORD DR., 400 block, 7:30 a.m. Jan. 21. Property was stolen from a business entered by force.

NELSON ST., 1100 block, Jan. 17 to Jan. 18. An attempt was made to enter a restaurant by force.

PILGRIMS COVE, 6500 block, Jan. 14. A vehicle parked with its engine running was stolen.

POTOMAC OAKS DR., 11200 block, Jan. 14 to Jan. 15. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.

RIDGEWAY AVE., 5900 block, 1:35 p.m. Jan. 21. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1700 block, Jan. 20. Property was stolen from a hotel room.

SMOKEY QUARTZ DR., 11100 block, Jan. 14 to Jan. 15. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.

SOMERVILLE DR., 15900 block, 6:26 a.m. Jan. 13 to Jan. 14. Property was stolen from a business entered by force.

TWEED COURT, Jan. 14 to 15. A camera and a cellphone were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

ASSAULTS

DEMOCRACY BLVD., 7100 block, 2:30 p.m. Jan. 14. Two males and three females stole merchandise from a retail store and fled to a white Subaru Outback in the parking lot. A store employee was struck by the vehicle as it was driven away.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 10600 block, 8 p.m. Jan. 14. A man robbed a gas station employee of cash at knifepoint.

OLD GEORGETOWN RD., 11700 block, 2:40 a.m. Jan. 16. A man wearing a ski mask forced his way into a home, threatened two occupants with a hammer, took property and fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

DERBYSHIRE LANE, 9900 block, 1 to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 12. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

WOODSIDE PL., 6900 block, 3:30 to 4 a.m. Jan. 20. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

ROBBERIES

BROADMORE DR., 1000 block, 9:30 p.m. Jan. 13. Five people entered an acquaintance's residence and threatened a male occupant with a gun, then forced him to drive them several places before returning. No injuries were reported.

OLD COLUMBIA PIKE, 13400 block, 11:20 p.m. Jan. 14. A gunman robbed a gas station of cash.

OLD COLUMBIA PIKE, 15500 block, 1:22 a.m. Jan. 16. Two men attacked a man and robbed him of clothing, then fled in a black four-door Chevy Impala.

PINEY BRANCH RD., 9300 block, 1:55 p.m. Jan. 15. Four males entered an apartment and demanded property from a female occupant. When she refused, the intruders fled empty-handed. No injuries were reported.

PINEY BRANCH RD., 9300 block, 6:34 a.m. Jan. 15. Two men entered an apartment and demanded cash at gunpoint. A Bowie man, 29, and a man, 34, were arrested.

STALEY MANOR RD., 1800 block, 8 p.m. Jan. 20. Two men attacked and robbed at gunpoint a taxi driver who had stopped his vehicle.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ATHEY RD., 14800 blocks, 1 to 8:30 a.m. Jan. 16. Computer software, a digital music player and an adapter were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

ATHEY RD., 14900 block, 5 p.m. Jan. 15 to 3 p.m. Jan. 17. A vehicle was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

CASTLE BLVD., 13900 block, 4 p.m. Jan. 13 to 12:38 p.m. Jan. 14. Property was stolen from two apartments. One was entered by force.

CASTLE BLVD., 13900 block, noon to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 14. An apartment was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing. An attempt was made to break into a second apartment.

FORSYTHIA LANE, 3500 block, 9 p.m. Jan. 15 to 6 a.m. Jan. 16. A radar detector and a Global Positioning System device were stolen from a vehicle entered by forced. A second vehicle was forcibly entered. Nothing was reported missing.

HARMON RD., 2500 block, 5:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Jan. 16. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

HEATHER HOLLOW CIR., 1500 block, 2 to 2:56 p.m. Jan. 17. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

MCKENNEY AVE., 10100 block, 8:48 a.m. Jan. 15. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

NORTHWEST DR., 400 block, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 15. An attempt was made to enter a residence.

PINEY BRANCH RD., 8800 block, noon to 2 p.m. Jan. 15. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

PRISCILLA DR., 100 block, 5:20 p.m. Jan. 16. A male tried to enter a residence by force.

PROSPERITY DR., 12500 block, 5 p.m. Jan. 14 to 5 a.m. Jan. 15. Property was stolen from a medical office.

ASSAULTS

ORANGEWOOD ST., 14500 block, 3:52 a.m. Dec. 20. A man entered a residence, took a car key and fled. On Jan. 14, he returned and got inside a red Ford Focus, awakening the vehicle's owner. While driving away, the intruder struck an occupant of the home who stood in front of the vehicle in an attempt to prevent it from being stolen.

FAIRLAWN AVE., 15100 block, 2:51 a.m. Jan. 14. A male entered a residence, attacked two male occupants, took property and car keys, and fled in a vehicle owned by an occupant.

GEORGIA AVE. AND RANDOLPH RD., 10:45 p.m. Jan. 16. Four males attacked a woman waiting for a bus and fled with her purse.

GEORGIA AVE., 11700 block, Jan. 17 to 18. Property was stolen from a library.

HOLLINGSWORTH TERR., 6600 block, Jan. 13 to 2:15 a.m. Jan. 15. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

LITTLETON ST., 12500 block, 11:40 to 11:53 a.m. Jan. 14. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

PLYERS MILL RD., 3000 block, 11:30 a.m. to 1:27 p.m. Jan. 16. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

PRINCE PHILIP DR., 18100 block, Jan. 15 to 16. Property was stolen from an emergency care facility entered by force.

WEEPING WILLOW CT., 3300 block, 9:35 a.m. Jan. 12. A man entered a residence, then fled empty-handed when confronted by an occupant who had just returned home.

WENDY LANE, 3700 block, Jan. 15. A male entered a residence. A man of no fixed address was charged with burglary.

CHERRYWOOD TERR., 100 block, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 20. Property was stolen from a residence.

LAKE SHORE DRIVE AREA, 9:20 p.m. Jan. 18. Two males attacked two youths walking on path by a lake and robbed them of property at knifepoint. Each victim suffered cuts to the hand.

MUDDY BRANCH AND WEST DEER PARK ROADS, 10 p.m. Jan. 15. Four people attacked a pedestrian and robbed him of property. An arrest was made.

RUSSELL AVE., 700 block, 11:50 a.m. Jan. 16. A male knocked down a female, grabbed her purse and fled. A male was arrested nearby.

ACCENT WAY, 13300 block, Jan. 13 to Jan. 14. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

ADDENBROOK WAY, 2 to 3:20 a.m. Jan. 19. Property was stolen from two unlocked vehicles inside a garage at a residence.

BLUE HERON LANE, 18900 block, Jan. 19 to 20. Garages were entered at three residences. A 1993 Honda Accord and a motorcycle were stolen.

BRASSIE PL., 19600 block, Jan. 17. A residential burglary occurred. Intruders were arrested at the scene.

BRINK RD., 8900 block, Jan. 16 to Jan. 17. A cellphone and a Global Positioning System device were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

BROOK RUN COURT, 3 to 8:30 a.m. Jan. 19. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

CHURUBUSCO LANE, 11:50 p.m. Jan. 18. A male entered a residence through an unlocked door, took property and fled when confronted.

DOVEDALE WAY, 13300 block, Jan. 13 to 14. A hood was stolen from a Honda Civic entered by prying open a door.

DUNSTABLE CIR., 19900 block, Jan. 15 to 19. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

GOLDENROD LANE, 20200 block, Jan. 17 to 18. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.

LIBERTY MILL RD., 19300 block, Jan. 13 to 14. Jewelry was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

MILL POND TERR., 20300 block, Jan. 17 to 18. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

STABLEVIEW CT., 8600 block, Jan. 16 to 17. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle.

STONE HOLLOW DR., 18400 block, Jan. 13 to 14. A vehicle window was broken. Nothing was reported missing.

THYME CT., 13000 block, Jan. 13 to 14. A satellite radio and a Global Positioning System device were stolen from two vehicles entered by force.

WAXING TERR., 8700 block, Jan. 19 to 20. Property was stolen from a garage at a residence.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

OLDE TOWNE AREA, 3 a.m., Jan. 18. A 21-year-old woman from Laurel was walking toward a convenience store when she was abducted by three men in a burgundy or red sport-utility vehicle. The victim was driven to what she described as a deserted field, where she was raped by each of the assailants. She was dropped off near a shopping center on Muncaster Mill Road.

SMOOTHSTONE WAY, 18900 block, Jan. 16. An unlocked vehicle was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

SMOOTHSTONE WAY, 18900 block, Jan. 19. A car stereo was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

VICTORY FARM DR. AND FALLBROOK ST., 11:30 p.m. Jan. 15. An ignition was damaged, and a DVD player, CDs and a stereo were stolen from a 1992 Ford van. Three people were arrested.

BLANDFORD ST., 200 block, 10:20 p.m. Jan. 21. A Clinton man, 70, was arrested in connection with a domestic violence incident.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

MEADOW HALL RD., 200 block, 5:50 p.m. Jan. 21. A man acted inappropriately in a room at a public library. A 53-year-old Wheaton man was charged with lewd behavior.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HUNGERFORD DR., 400 block, 7 p.m. Jan. 20. A business was entered by breaking a window. Nothing was reported missing.

RIDGWAY AVE., 5900 block, 3 p.m. Dec. 29. A checkbook was stolen from a residence. A Fairfax County man, 34, was charged with first-degree burglary.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 700 block, 11:12 p.m. Jan. 20. Merchandise was stolen from a pharmacy.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1600 block, 6:43 p.m. Jan. 22. An attempt was made to return store merchandise that had been stolen and receive cash.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1700 block, 8 p.m. Jan. 21. Clothing was stolen from a retail store.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 7400 block, 1:11 a.m. Jan. 24. A man was arrested on an open warrant from St. Mary's County for violation of probation on armed robbery charges.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HOLTON LANE, 1100 block, 11:08 p.m. Jan. 26. A man was arrested on an open warrant for failure to appear on a charge of attempted theft over $500.

KIRKLYNN AVE., 1100 block, 5 to 5:10 a.m. Jan. 26. A vehicle was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

LINDEN AVE., 1100 block, 11:30 p.m. Jan. 29 to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 28. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 7600 block, 10:14 p.m. Jan. 24. An attempt was made to enter a business by force.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

TULIP AVE., 300 block, 2 p.m. Jan. 25. A 1999 Dodge Caravan was stolen. The vehicle was recovered in Fort Meade on Jan. 26. A male teenager was charged with auto theft.

WILDWOOD DR., 7300, 7400 and 8000 blocks, Jan. 28. Attempts were made to steal three Honda vehicles.
