Wizards: F Caron Butler missed his second straight game with the flu. G Juan Dixon returned after missing two games with an elbow injury. Dixon missed all five of his shots and had three assists in 16 minutes.

Nuggets: C Steven Hunter (knee) is out for the season. F Carmelo Anthony recently became the third-youngest player in NBA history to score 10,000 points, reaching the milestone at age 24 years 194 days. Only LeBron James and Kobe Bryant did it more quickly.
