ARIS T. ALLEN BLVD. AND RIVA RD., 12:11 a.m. Feb. 2. An assault was reported.

ROBBERIES

FOREST DR., 2300 block, 5:40 p.m. Feb. 1. A robbery was reported.

SOMERVILLE RD., 2000 block, 1:36 a.m. Feb. 1. An assault was reported.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

DEFENSE HWY., 100 block, 10:19 p.m. Jan. 29 to 3 p.m. Jan. 30. A door was removed from an auto parts store. Nothing was reported stolen.

FOREST DR., 2300 block, 6:46 p.m. Jan. 31. A theft was reported.

GOVERNOR THOMAS BLADEN WAY, 2000 block, 10:10 a.m. Jan. 2. A male was seen taping over apartment door peepholes with electrical tape and walking to a car in a nearby parking lot. When police arrived, witnesses pointed out a suspect, who was found to be carrying tools similar to those used to burglarize one of the apartments. He also was found to be wanted for arrest by two other jurisdictions and was in possession of marijuana. A District man, 34, was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, fourth-degree burglary and possession of marijuana.

OLD SOLOMONS ISLAND RD., 100 block, 4 to 4:05 a.m. Jan. 27. Cash and a cash register were stolen from a liquor store entered by breaking a front glass door.

RIVA RD., 2500 block, 2:05 p.m. Feb. 2. A theft was reported.

SOLOMONS ISLAND RD., 2500 block, 1:08 p.m. Jan. 29. A theft was reported.

VALLEY VIEW RD., 2900 block, 7 to 8:31 a.m. Jan. 28. A break-in was reported. Nothing was reported stolen.

WEEMS CREEK DR., unit block, 11 p.m. Jan. 28 to 6 a.m. Jan. 29. Cash was stolen from a home entered through a front door.

PAWLET DR., 1900 block, 3:08 a.m. Feb. 3. A side window of a black Ford F-150 pickup was broken, and its dashboard was damaged in an attempt to steal it. A Laurel man, 28, and a Glen Burnie man, 21, were arrested and charged with attempted auto theft and malicious destruction of property.

ROBBERIES

BALTIMORE ANNAPOLIS BLVD., 7700 block, 12:29 a.m. Jan. 29. A masked gunman entered a gas station and demanded cash from an employee while another male waited outside. The clerk gave the robber cash. The robbers fled on foot.

RITCHIE HWY., 6600 block, 12:37 p.m. Feb. 3. Several people were robbed by two men, who fled in a vehicle. A Glen Burnie man, 41, and a Baltimore man, 42, were arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BALTIMORE ANNAPOLIS BLVD., 7400 block, 5:30 p.m. Jan. 28 to 8:30 a.m. Jan. 29. Cash was stolen from a sign business entered by removing the hinges of a back door.

BUDDING BRANCH RD., 8000 block, 1:30 to 11:08 p.m. Jan. 25. A radio, a computer and a VCR were stolen from a home entered by kicking a front door.

CRAIN COURT CIR., 200 block, 10:30 a.m. Jan. 28 to 12:54 p.m. Jan. 31. A home was entered through a front door. Nothing was reported stolen.

DINSMORE AVE., 100 block, 8:40 a.m. to 1:14 p.m. Jan. 26. Video game equipment and jewels were stolen from a home entered through an unlocked front window.

NEW JERSEY AVE. NE, 500 block, 6:20 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 26. A back door of a home was pried.

SPENCER RD., 7800 block, 8:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 27. Jewelry, a computer, a camera and cash were stolen from a home entered by forcing open a front door.

WOODHILL DR., 200 block, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Jan. 27. Cash was stolen from a home. There was no sign of forced entry.

WOODHILL DR., 200 block, 6:30 p.m. Jan. 27 to 10:51 a.m. Jan. 29. A TV, jewelry and an appliance were stolen from a home entered by prying open a front door.

Hanover Area

ASSAULTS

ARUNDEL MILLS BLVD., 7600 block, 8:17 p.m. Feb. 2. A mall security guard confronted two males suspected of shoplifting and assaulting a store employee. During the confrontation, both tried to attack the guard, and one stabbed him in the buttocks. The guard sprayed the suspects with pepper, and they fled on foot. One was found by police on Ridge Road. The guard was taken to a hospital. The case was under investigation.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CHARWOOD RD., 1300 block, 3 p.m. Jan. 23 to 2 p.m. Jan. 25. Cash and tobacco products were stolen from a deli entered by prying open a side door.

GALAXY WAY, 3100 block, noon Jan. 30. A home was searched in connection with a burglary that occurred Jan. 29 in the Seven Oaks community in Odenton. The search led detectives to the 1900 block of Foxhound Court in Severn, where three men were found in a vehicle. A handgun was found in the vehicle, and stolen items from several burglaries were found in a building. A Laurel man, 19, and a Severn man, 18, were arrested and charged with handgun violations, first-degree burglary and theft. A Glen Burnie man, 19, was arrested and charged with handgun violations.

PARKWAY DR., 7200 block, 5 p.m. Jan. 27 to 4:18 p.m. Jan. 28. A computer was stolen from a business entered by prying open a front door.

RACCOON RUN CT., 200 block, noon Jan. 25 to 8 a.m. Jan. 26. A purse and cash were stolen from a home entered through a door.

Laurel Area

ASSAULTS

BROCK BRIDGE RD., 8400 block, 8:56 a.m. Jan. 31. Two men and a woman were visiting a man at his home when the resident became angry and ordered everyone to leave. He is accused of choking the woman and getting a rifle, which he pointed at the woman. He pulled the trigger, but it did not fire. He also pointed the gun at the men, police said. A Laurel man, 45, was arrested and charged with one count of attempted murder, several counts of assault and related violations.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

FLOATING LEAF LANE, 3500 block, 6:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. Jan. 26. A home was entered through a front door.

LINDENWOOD DR., 3400 block, 11 a.m. to 3:25 p.m. Jan. 30. Glass in a back door of a residence was broken.

ORION CIR., 7900 block, 7 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Jan. 26. Video game equipment, jewelry and cash were stolen from a home entered through a front door.

Londontown Area

QUANTICO RD., 1700 block, 2:25 p.m. Jan. 30. A break-in was reported.

Lothian Area

ASSAULTS

B CT., 200 block, 10:10 p.m. Jan. 30. A woman and a man went to the home of one of the woman's male acquaintances and broke a front window. The resident said he heard the woman say, "Just shoot the door down." He and his daughter fled to a back bedroom. He heard a gunshot. The intruders fled in a red Chevrolet Blazer. Police stopped a similar vehicle, which contained a loaded handgun. A Dunkirk woman, 30, and a Chesapeake man, 27, were arrested and charged with first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, illegal possession of a handgun and other weapons offenses. A Dunkirk woman, 21, was arrested and charged with illegal possession of a handgun.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ALMAS WAY, 900 block, 9 a.m. Jan. 23 to 9 a.m. Jan. 25. Cash and a firearm were stolen from a home entered by breaking a front window.

Odenton Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

FARRARA DR., 1300 block, 7:39 p.m. Jan. 29. A male forced his way into a home through a front door. He waved a knife at occupants as he walked through the house, searching for a male relative of one of the occupants. When he finished looking, he drove away in a red Chevrolet Silverado. Police stopped a vehicle at St. Mary's Avenue and Annapolis Road in Gambrills. A Gambrills man, 38, was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary, fourth-degree burglary, several counts of first-degree assault and related violations.

CHAPELGATE DR., 700 block, 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 26. A computer, a digital media player, video game equipment, jewelry and a VCR were stolen from a home entered by breaking a back window.

HIDDEN HILL CIR., 100 block, 3:10 to 3:20 p.m. Jan. 29. A TV and a computer were stolen from a home entered by breaking glass in a back door.

TELEGRAPH RD., 8300 block, 3:40 to 4 p.m. Jan. 27. A break-in was reported at a business. Nothing was reported stolen.

EAST SHORE RD., 7700 block, 10:15 to 10:30 p.m. Jan. 23. Video game equipment was stolen from a home entered through a side door.

EAST SHORE RD., 7700 block, 5:15 to 10 p.m. Jan. 24. A TV and jewelry were stolen from a home entered through a basement door.

GRANADA RD., 200 block, 11:35 a.m. to 3:06 p.m. Jan. 29. Property was stolen from a home entered by kicking a front door.

FOURTH ST., 7600 block, 10:20 a.m. Jan. 23 to 10:45 p.m. Jan. 24. A computer and sporting goods were stolen from a tackle shop entered by breaking a side window.

NINTH ST., 900 block, 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 28. A TV, clothing and video game equipment were stolen from a home entered through a side door.

214TH ST., 700 block, 1:55 to 2:01 p.m. Jan. 26. Cash, jewelry and a camera were stolen from a home entered through a back door.

229TH ST., 2300 block, 4 to 9:30 p.m. Jan. 27. A home's back door was kicked. Nothing was reported stolen.

Severn Area

ASSAULTS

SEVERN RD., 1400 block, 11:17 a.m. Feb. 1. A 20-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were sitting in a car when someone called police because the man was behaving erratically. The man had been arguing with his parents and had slammed his mother's arm in a car door. He tried to assault two officers when he got out of the vehicle. The man's father tried to stab an officer with a butcher knife he had concealed in his jacket. The knife was dropped; the man's mother tried to pick it up and was ordered to stop. She hit an officer. A Severn man, 20, was arrested and charged with several counts of assault and related violations. A Severn man, 56, was arrested and charged with attempted second-degree murder, carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a deadly weapon with intent to injure, several counts of assault and related violations. A Severn woman, 57, was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree assault, two counts of hindering and other violations.

ROBBERIES

ANNAPOLIS RD., 1600 block, 7:50 p.m. Jan. 28. A gunman and two other males robbed a male pedestrian of cash, then ran into a wooded area. A Severn man, 20, a Brooklyn man, 20, and a Severn boy, 17, were arrested and charged with armed robbery, robbery and theft. The teenager was charged as an adult.

ANNAPOLIS RD., 1400 block, 10:45 a.m. Feb. 1. Three males approached a 30-year-old male pedestrian from behind. One hit the pedestrian in the face and knocked him down. The pedestrian's wallet was taken. He was taken to a hospital.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

WIEKER RD., 900 block, 9 p.m. Jan. 23 to 10 a.m. Jan. 24. Auto parts and other items were stolen from a home entered through a front door.

WOOD CARRIAGE WAY, 1700 block, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 29. Video game equipment was stolen from a home entered by breaking glass in a back door.

Severna Park Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CHRISBA RD., unit block, 5 p.m. Jan. 24 to 3 p.m. Jan. 29. A home was entered. There was no sign of forced entry, and nothing was reported stolen.

SEVERN RIVER RD., 100 block, midnight Jan. 16 to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 24. A business's front door was kicked. Nothing was reported stolen.

ASSAULTS

LEGION AVE. AND WEST ST., 2:10 p.m. Feb. 2. A vehicle owner saw a male slashing his tires and approached him. The male hit the owner several times and tried to stab him. An Annapolis man, 19, was arrested and charged with first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, destruction of property and disorderly conduct. The vehicle owner refused medical treatment.

WEST ST., 2000 block, 2:32 a.m. Jan. 31. An assault was reported.

WEST WASHINGTON ST., 1:14 a.m. Feb. 1. A woman punched and cut a male during an argument. The male was taken to a hospital. An Annapolis woman, 43, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and reckless endangerment.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BELVEDERE CT., evening of Jan. 29 to morning of Jan. 30. A driver's side mirror was stolen from a vehicle.

BLOOMSBURY SQ., 1700 block, 9:19 p.m. Feb. 1. A break-in was reported.

BRIDAL PATH LANE, 300 block, noon Jan. 26 to noon Jan. 27. A bicycle was stolen from an open garage.

CHINQUAPIN ROUND RD., 500 block, 4 p.m. Jan. 30. A nonresidential property was entered.

EDGEWOOD RD., 7300 block, mid-December to Jan. 23. A security officer discovered that an outboard motor had been stolen from a sailboat. A wooden ladder was found on the side of the boat.

MADISON ST., 1100 block, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 1. A video game system and games were stolen from an apartment.

SILVERWOOD CIR., evening of Feb. 1 to 6:10 a.m. Feb. 2. A navigational system, a digital media player and a set of dishes were stolen from a sport-utility vehicle. There was no sign of forced entry.

SHORT ST., 1100 block, 9 p.m. Jan. 28 to 5 a.m. Jan. 29. A computer, a navigational system, an LCD projector and other items were stolen from a vehicle. There was no sign of forced entry.

SPA RD., 1000 block, 7 p.m. Jan. 30. An attempt was made to enter a nonresidential property.

WEST ST., 2000 block, 9:10 a.m. Feb. 3. A theft was reported.
