PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY
Victim of Fatal Seat Pleasant Stabbing Identified
A man found stabbed to death this week in a home in Seat Pleasant has been identified as 68-year-old Willie Jones, Prince George's County police said.
Jones's body was found about 5:30 p.m. Monday by one of his adult daughters, police said. Jones, described by neighbors as friendly and gentle, lived in the 6300 block of Seat Pleasant Drive.
There were no signs of forced entry to his home, said Cpl. Erica Johnson, a police spokeswoman. She said detectives were trying to determine a motive for the killing.

BAY BRIDGE FATAL ACCIDENT
Driver Who Fell Asleep Pleads Guilty to 3 Counts
A 19-year-old woman who fell asleep while driving on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge before a fatal accident has pleaded guilty to three motor vehicle charges.
Candy Baldwin of Millington paid $470 in fines last month to settle county District Court charges, authorities said.
On Aug. 10, 57-year-old John Short of Willards died in his tractor-trailer after crashing over the side of the bridge and into the bay. Authorities say Baldwin's car veered into oncoming traffic moments before Short drove through the bridge's walls.
Baldwin's blood-alcohol level was .03, which prosecutors decided was too low to press criminal charges over.
