Northeast

HOMICIDES

DELAFIELD ST., 800 block, 5 p.m. Feb. 27. John Reaves, 30, of Northeast was found in an alley with gunshot wounds to the head. He was taken to Washington Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead at 5:31 p.m.

MINNESOTA AVE., 4100 block, 10:50 p.m. Feb. 28. Arthur Daniels, 14, of Northeast was found with a gunshot wound to the back. He was taken to Prince George's Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead at 11:55 p.m.

ROBBERIES

ALLISON ST., 1-99 block, 10:02 a.m. Feb. 28. A male robbed a male pedestrian of cash, then fled in a vehicle with an accomplice.

BENNING RD., 1800 block, 10:31 a.m. Feb. 28. A gunman robbed a male pedestrian of cash, then fled in a vehicle with a male accomplice.

BENNING RD., 2600 block, 12:21 a.m. Feb. 28. A gunman robbed a male at a service station of keys, then fled in the victim's vehicle.

BUCHANAN ST., 1600 block, 7:53 p.m. Feb. 27. A gunman and a male accomplice robbed a deliveryman of property, then fled in his vehicle.

E ST., 2000 block, 8:05 p.m. March 3. Three gunmen robbed a male pedestrian of property.

EASTERN AVE., 5100 block, 1:20 a.m. Feb. 28. A gunman forced a motorist from his vehicle, then drove away in it.

H ST., 800 block, 7:03 p.m. March 4. Two males attacked a male and robbed him of cash.

HAYES ST., 4100 block, 10:42 p.m. Feb. 28. A gunman forced a motorist from his vehicle, then fled in it with a male accomplice.

HUNT ST., 5000 block, 3:30 a.m. Feb. 27. A gunman and a male accomplice robbed a male motorist of property, then fled in a vehicle.

L ST., 1-99 block, 7:15 p.m. Feb. 27. A gunman robbed a female of a cellphone.

MARNE PL., 4200 block, 7:55 p.m. Feb. 28. Two gunmen robbed a male of property, then fled in the victim's vehicle with two accomplices.

NANNIE HELEN BURROUGHS AVE., 4300 block, 10:05 p.m. Feb. 26. Four males attacked a pedestrian and robbed him of property.

ORD ST., 4400 block, 7:27 p.m. Feb. 27. A gunman robbed a motorist of keys to his vehicle, then fled in it with a male accomplice.

ROCK CREEK CHURCH RD., 5000 block, 3:05 p.m. March 3. A gunman robbed a deliveryman of property.

TENNESSEE AVE., 100 block, 3:05 p.m. March 1. A gunman attacked a pedestrian and robbed him of property, then fled with several accomplices.

VARNUM ST., 100 block, 11:30 p.m. Feb. 28. A gunman robbed a pedestrian of his wallet.

THIRD ST., 1000 block, 7:05 p.m. Feb. 26. Two females attacked a pedestrian and robbed her of a tote bag.

SEVENTH ST., 200 block, 3 p.m. March 1. A male robbed a person at a grocery store of cash. An arrest was made.

10TH ST., 300 block, 7:30 p.m. Feb. 28. A male assaulted a pedestrian and robbed her of a purse.

52ND ST. AND SHERIFF RD., 6:40 a.m. Jan. 31. A gunman forced a motorist from his vehicle, then fled in it.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BLADENSBURG RD., 1900 block, 6:30 p.m. Feb. 25 to 7:20 a.m. Feb. 26. Tools were stolen from this location.

D ST., 1800 block, 2:45 p.m. March 2. A male attacked a woman who had just opened the front door of her apartment. The assailant fled empty-handed.

EADS ST., 6000 block, 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 26. Property was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a living room window.

EDGEWOOD ST., 600 block, 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. March 4. Property was stolen from an apartment entered by forcing door locks.

H ST., 1300 block, 3:42 to 3:45 p.m. Jan. 7. A construction site was broken into by shattering glass in a front door with a brick.

KEARNY ST., 700 block, 1:25 p.m. March 3. A gunman forced his way into an occupied residence through the front door, then fled empty-handed.

MEIGS PL., 1200 block, 8 a.m. Feb. 25 to 4 p.m. Feb. 27. A refrigerator was stolen from a residence.

NEW YORK AVE., 500 block, 8:17 a.m. March 1. Two males took jewelry, laptops and a cellphone from a residence entered after an occupant opened the front door.

TRINIDAD AVE., 1600 block, 12 p.m. Feb. 21 to 4 p.m. Feb. 26. Speakers, a CD player and a DVD player were stolen from a residence.

NINTH ST., 4000 block, 7:45 to 9:54 p.m. March 1. An apartment was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

48TH PL., 1100 block, 6:45 a.m. to 8:50 a.m. March 4. Property was stolen from a residence. Two men, 25 and 26, were arrested.

55TH ST., 200 block, 11 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Feb. 26. TVs were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear window.

56TH ST., 200 block, 8 p.m. Feb. 27 to 10 a.m. Feb. 28. A TV was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a kitchen window.

61ST ST., 400 block, 11:30 p.m. Feb. 25 to 5:30 a.m. Feb. 26. Property was stolen from a restaurant entered through a roof.

Northwest

ROBBERIES

CONNECTICUT AVE., 1300 block, 3:09 p.m. Feb. 26. A man who implied that he had a handgun in his pocket robbed a store of cash.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 4000 block, 11:07 p.m. March 1. Two men approached a male from behind, pushed him to the ground and demanded cash. The victim got up and ran into the street. The assailants fled empty-handed in a Jeep Cherokee.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 4400 block, 3:40 a.m. Feb. 28. Several males jumped out of a vehicle and attacked a pedestrian. They robbed him of a wallet, then fled in the vehicle.

CORCORAN ST., 1800 block, 8:25 p.m. Feb. 25. Two males attacked a pedestrian and robbed him of cash and credit cards. The victim was treated for head injuries at George Washington University Hospital.

F ST., 900 block, 5:33 p.m. March 3. A man threatened an employee and robbed a store of cash from the cash register.

GEORGIA AVE. AND TAYLOR ST., 6:50 p.m. March 3. Several male teenagers, one of them armed with a baseball bat, attacked a pedestrian and robbed him of a jacket.

H ST., 700 block, 3 p.m. Feb. 25. A bank customer who was bumped by a person in the bank later discovered that property was missing from his pocket.

HOBART ST., 1700 block, 9:50 p.m. March 4. A male pressed an object against a pedestrian's neck, forced the person into an alley and fled with the victim's cellphone and wallet.

IRVING ST., 1000 block, 3:15 p.m. March 1. A male was attacked and knocked to the ground. A passerby saw two male teenagers going through the pockets of the victim, who was unable to determine whether anything was stolen.

KANSAS AVE., 4100 block, 9:56 a.m. Feb. 28. Two men robbed a pedestrian of his wallet, then fled in a vehicle.

KIRBY ST., 1200 block, 12:08 a.m. Feb. 26. A gunman robbed a male pedestrian of cash.

LAMONT ST., 600 block, 9:15 p.m. March 3. A cab driver was robbed of cash at gunpoint after driving three men to this location.

LONGFELLOW ST., 700 block, 12:13 a.m. Feb. 28. Several males attacked a pedestrian and robbed him of cash.

M ST., 3100 block, 8:43 p.m. March 4. A gunman robbed a store of cash from the cash register.

M ST. AND WISCONSIN AVE., 9:30 a.m. A male approached a pedestrian from behind and tried to steal her purse. After a brief struggle, he fled.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE., 600 block, 11:35 p.m. Feb. 25. A man attacked a pedestrian from behind, then robbed him of a wallet and fled.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 3800 block, 4:58 a.m. to 5 a.m. Feb. 27. A cab driver was robbed at knifepoint by three men he had picked up as fares.

NEW JERSEY AVE., 1300 block, 1:40 p.m. March 3. Three males in a school restroom forcefully detained a male and robbed him of a cellphone and a Metro fare card.

OAK ST., 1400 block, 11 p.m. Feb. 27. Three male teenagers attacked a female and robbed her of cash, an ATM card and a cellphone.

PARK RD., 1000 block, 2:30 p.m. March 1. A male teenager robbed two pedestrians of a cellphone at knifepoint.

PARK RD., 1600 block, 10:30 p.m. A man got out of an elevator and robbed a person in a building lobby of a passport, a key card, a credit card and gold earrings.

PEABODY ST., 100 block, 8:52 a.m. Feb. 26. A male teenager got out of a vehicle and robbed a pedestrian of his coat at gunpoint. The assailant fled in the vehicle, which was driven by an accomplice.

PEABODY ST., 300 block, 11:40 a.m. Feb. 27. A male snatched a female pedestrian's purse, then fled to a vehicle in an alley.

PENNSYLVANIA AVE., 2400 block, 12:10 a.m. Feb. 27. Three males attacked a pedestrian and robbed him of sneakers. The victim received several minor cuts during the incident.

U ST., 1500 block, 5:05 p.m. March 1. A man threatened an employee and robbed a store of cash.

UNDERWOOD ST., 1300 block, 11 p.m. March 1. A male got out of a vehicle, punched a pedestrian in the face, robbed her of a cellphone and keys and in the vehicle.

UPSHUR ST., 700 block, 4:25 p.m. Feb. 26. Several males attacked a pedestrian and robbed him of a wallet.

WARDER ST., 3000 block, 6:20 p.m. March 4. A group of teenagers detained a pedestrian, threatened her with a knife, knocked her to the ground and robbed her of a cellphone and a check.

WISCONSIN AVE., 4900 block, 2:10 p.m. March 2. A man entered a store and acted as if he was making a purchase, then implied that he had a weapon and demanded cash. When an employee screamed, he fled empty-handed.

FIFTH AND KENNEDY STREETS, 2:15 a.m. Feb. 27. A man attacked a pedestrian and robbed him of a wallet.

SEVENTH AND GALLATIN STREETS, 4:05 a.m. Jan. 4. Three male teenagers forced a motorist from her vehicle, which was stopped at an intersection, then drove away in the vehicle.

11TH ST., 2300 block, 10 a.m. Feb. 27. Two male teenagers attacked a male acquaintance and robbed him of cash.

11TH ST., 2800 block, 10:12 a.m. March 2. A gunman robbed a convenience store of cash.

14TH ST., 1400 block, 11:30 a.m. Feb. 27. Two gunmen robbed a liquor store of cash. They also took a wallet from a store employee.

14TH ST., 3700 block, 9:20 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Feb. 28. A male pushed a female to the ground, then fled with her purse.

15TH ST. AND FLORIDA AVE., 4:15 a.m. Feb. 28. Two males in an alley knocked a pedestrian to the ground and robbed him of a cellphone and wallet.

18TH ST., 2100 block, 6:15 p.m. March 3. A man who implied that he had a weapon robbed a store of cash from the cash register.

48TH AND V STREETS, 4:56 p.m. Feb. 28. A male in a parking lot robbed a male of a wallet. A credit card in the wallet was used fraudulently.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ARKANSAS AVE., 4100 block, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 26. An attempt was made to enter a residence by tampering with a lock on a back door.

CAROLINA PL., 5400 block, 9:45 a.m. to 9:40 p.m. Feb. 26. A jewelry box and a gold watch were stolen from a residence entered by cutting a screen and kicking in an inner door.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 2800 block, 8:45 a.m. Jewelry was stolen from a home entered through a bedroom window.

CORCORAN ST., 1300 block, 7:30 a.m. Feb. 26. An iPod, a laptop and a sound system were stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

FLORIDA AVE., 1700 block, 5 p.m. Feb. 20. CDs and tools were stolen from a residence entered through a window.

GEORGIA AVE., 7300 block, 2 a.m. Jan. 14. Cash was taken from a cash register in a grocery store entered by removing a plywood covering from a rear entrance. A male was seen fleeing the premises on a bicycle.

M ST., 3300 block, 7 p.m. Feb. 27 to 7:30 a.m. Feb. 28. Computer hard drives were stolen from offices in a building entered by prying a rear window.

N ST., 3400 block, 5:32 a.m. Feb. 26. A woman was awakened by a man in her bedroom who had gained entry by unknown means. He fled when she screamed.

P ST., 1400 block, 10:33 a.m. to 12:58 p.m. March 2. Jackets were stolen from a store entered by smashing glass in a front door.

Q ST., 1700 block, 12:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. March 1. A residence was entered by forcing a rooftop door. Nothing was reported missing.

RITTENHOUSE ST., 900 block, 2:30 a.m. March 1. A man entered a residence and threatened two occupants. He searched the premises, took jewelry from a bedroom and fled.

SPRING PL., 1500 block, 4 p.m. March 2. A video game system was stolen from a residence entered through a front door.

WISCONSIN AVE., 2700 block, 10 p.m. Feb. 27 to 1 a.m. Feb. 28. An occupied residence was entered by forcing a kitchen door. Nothing was reported missing.

FOURTH ST., 1600 block, 8:30 a.m. Feb. 18 to 11:30 p.m. Feb. 25. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

FIFTH ST., 1000 block, 8:20 p.m. Feb. 26 to 7:50 a.m. Feb. 27. Cordless drills, a vacuum cleaner, shower heads and a floor-cleaning product were stolen from a store entered by forcing a side door.

EIGHTH ST., 1500 block, 6:30 p.m. to 8:20 p.m. March 4. A laptop, a cellphone and an iPod were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear window.

18TH ST., 2000 block, 12:04 a.m. to 1:45 a.m. March 4. A restaurant was entered through a roof hatch. Police found a man passed out on the floor. A man, 40 was arrested.

19TH ST., 1600 block, 6:30 p.m. Feb. 26 to 1 p.m. Feb. 27. A camera and a lens were stolen from a residence entered by prying open a bedroom window.

24TH ST., 900 block, 2:14 a.m. Feb. 28. A man followed a male into a residence, then attacked him. The assailant fled in a vehicle.

37TH AND O STREETS, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 28. Laptops were stolen from university offices entered by prying open doors.

FIRTH STERLING AVE., 2600 block, 9:35 p.m. Feb. 26. A gunman robbed a pedestrian of his cellphone, then fled with several accomplices.

GALEN ST., 1600 block, 5:34 p.m. Feb. 27. A male robbed a female pedestrian of property.

HR DR., 800 block, 2:30 p.m. March 2. A gunman and a male accomplice robbed two people of property.

WAYNE PL., 100 block, 6:55 a.m. March 4. A male attacked a male at a residence and robbed him of property.

FIRST AND SOUTH CAPITOL STREETS, 9:15 a.m. March 4. A gunman at a bus stop robbed a male of a wallet.

BUENA VISTA TERR., 3100 block, 10 a.m. March 4. Video game consoles, video games and a TV were stolen from an apartment entered through an unlocked door.

DOUGLASS RD., 2600 block, 11:15 a.m. to 4:50 p.m. March 4. Property was stolen from a residence.

ELVANS RD., 2400 block, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Feb. 25. Digital media players were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a kitchen window.

GOOD HOPE RD., 2300 block, 5:30 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. Feb. 26. Video games and a video game console were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

HARTFORD ST., 2400 block, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 26. Shoes and a pellet gun were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a back door.

HIGHVIEW TERR., 3400 block, 5 a.m. March 3 to 8 a.m. March 4. A TV was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a window.

LIVINGSTON RD., 4300 block, 11:30 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. Feb. 26. Video game consoles and a TV were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

STANTON RD., 3500 block, 11 p.m. Feb. 27 to 1:30 a.m. Feb. 28. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

T PL., 2200 block, 9:20 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. March 3. A DVD player was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a dining room window.

UPSAL ST., 700 block, 6 a.m. March 14 to 4:05 p.m. March 28. A video game console was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front window.

WHEELER RD., 3500 block, 8 p.m. Jan. 22. Cash was stolen from a liquor store entered by prying a fan from a ventilation duct.

25TH ST., 3400 block, 10:03 a.m. March 4. An apartment was entered. A female was arrested.

41ST ST., 1500 block, 12:45 to 2 p.m. Feb. 26. A TV was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a kitchen window.

Southwest

ROBBERIES

JOLIET ST., 100 block, 1:34 a.m. Feb. 26. Four men pulled a motorist from a vehicle, assaulted him and took his keys. The victim said that just before he passed out he heard an unsuccessful attempt to start the vehicle. The assailants fled on foot.

M ST., 200 block, 10:05 a.m. Feb. 28. A gunman approached two people in front of a residence. He took cash from a male and keys from another person, then drove off in the second person's vehicle.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

WATER ST., 900 block, 1:05 to 7:45 a.m. Feb. 27. Food items were stolen from the freezer area of a restaurant. Employees said that doors were unlocked when they arrived for work. There was no sign of forced entry.

FOURTH ST., 1300 block, 12:25 a.m. March 1. Three males entered an occupied residence through a back door, then tried to flee when confronted. A resident chased down and detained one of the intruders. A 17-year-old male was arrested.
