Danielle Gant scored 22 points, Sydney Colson added a career-best 15 and No. 10 Texas A&M advanced to the Big 12 championship game by beating third-ranked Oklahoma, 74-62, yesterday in Oklahoma City.

The Sooners (28-4) were able to rally back once after Courtney Paris got into foul trouble, but the Aggies (25-6) delivered a knockout punch even with the all-American center on the court.

Tanisha Smith sparked an 11-1 run with a jumper from the left wing, and Colson added a three-pointer, a steal and a fast-break layup that pushed the lead to 42-31. Paris wasn't able to make a dent in the deficit before leaving with four fouls, and the Sooners were still down 10 when she fouled out with 3 minutes 23 seconds to play.

Paris ended up with 15 points and 15 rebounds, matching an NCAA record by reaching double figures in scoring for the 130th time in her career.

Smith finished with 13 points for Texas A&M, the defending Big 12 tournament champion. . . .

Jessica Morrow scored a season-high 24 points and hit six three-pointers as the seventh-ranked Bears advanced to the Big 12 title game with a 63-57 victory over No. 18 Iowa State.

Baylor (26-5) blew a 12-point second-half lead but won for the third time in four games without leading scorer and rebounder Danielle Wilson, who is out with a knee injury.

The Bears have won six in a row against Iowa State (24-8), which got 13 points and nine rebounds from Amanda Nisleit.

-- PACIFIC-10: In Los Angeles, Camille LeNoir scored 25 points to help Southern California upset No. 12 California, 69-67, to earn a spot in today's conference tournament final against the winner of the late Stanford-UCLA game.

Hailey Dunham added 12 points for the sixth-seeded Trojans (17-4), who snapped an eight-game losing streak to the Golden Bears (25-6). California thought it tied the score on a layup by Ashley Walker (29 points, 15 rebounds) as time expired, but the officials conferred for more than 10 minutes before negating the basket.
