The bracket for the NCAA women's tournament will be unveiled tonight (7 p.m., ESPN). Maryland (28-4), winner of the ACC tournament and regular season titles, is expected to be a No. 1 seed and will open tournament play Sunday at Comcast Center along with three other teams.

Besides the curiosity of whom their first-round opponent will be, the Terrapins will be watching to see which other No. 1 seed lands on their side of the bracket. Best-case scenario for Maryland: Connecticut (33-0) winds up on the opposite side.

Virginia is the only other area team expected to make the field this season. The Cavaliers (23-9) stumbled late in the season and probably won't do better than a No. 5 or 6 seed.

Look for complete coverage in tomorrow's Post.
