Quattro Wireless has raised $10 million in a third round of capital to expand its mobile ad network internationally and to further develop its targeting capabilities. The round was led by Highland Capital Partners and Globespan Capital Partners. In total, the Waltham, Mass.-based company has raised $28 million.
Last month, the company said it was expanding from North America into Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Asia and India. Although Quattro's international network had only been live for a few weeks at that time, it was already accounting for 10 percent of the company's business, and had clients such as Goal.com, hi5 and MySpace internationally. The Quattro Network now has 25 million unique visitors a month. In addition to the international expansion, the company said it will roll out new predictive mobile targeting technologies that will allow advertisers to target and consumer demographics on a "highly granular" level.
