Northeast

HOMICIDES

HAMLIN ST., 1500 block, 1 a.m. March 25. Eugene Francis Neal Sr., 51, of the 1500 block of Hamlin Street was found on a sidewalk with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene.

MARYLAND AVE., 2000 block, 1 p.m. March 21. Erika Peters, 36, and her sons Eric Harper, 11, and Dakota Peters, 10, were found with stab wounds in an apartment. They died. An injured man found in the apartment was treated at a hospital and arrested.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

QUEENS CHAPEL RD., 2100 block, 5 to 5:14 a.m. March 22. A man sexually assaulted a female in a vehicle. A man, 20, was arrested.

ROBBERIES

BLADENSBURG RD., 1600 block, 12:30 a.m. March 19. Two gunmen robbed a male in a vehicle of cash and fled in another vehicle with two accomplices.

COMMODORE JOSHUA BARNEY DR., 3500 block, 8:10 to 8:15 p.m. March 24. A male assaulted a female pedestrian and took her purse.

MINNESOTA AVE., 3900 block, 4:30 to 4:45 p.m. Feb. 10. A restaurant was entered by an intruder. An arrest was made.

NEW YORK AVE., 1300 block, 1:25 to 2:40 p.m. March 21. Two males assaulted and robbed a male pedestrian of property.

PIERCE ST., 1-99 block, 1:20 to 1:30 a.m. March 23. A male with a knife robbed a male pedestrian of property.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 800 block, 8:48 to 8:52 a.m. March 21. A male assaulted a female pedestrian and took her wallet.

SECOND ST., 1300 block, 11 p.m. March 23. Three males assaulted a female pedestrian and took her cellphone and wallet.

46TH ST. AND CENTRAL AVE., 3:43 to 3:45 p.m. March 24. Two males assaulted a male pedestrian and took his cellphone.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ANACOSTIA AVE., 700 block, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. March 19. A TV was stolen from a residence entered by forcing open a front door.

BLADENSBURG RD., 3000 block, 8:20 to 8:30 p.m. March 23. A purse was stolen from a residence entered by a male intruder, who fled in a vehicle.

BROOKS ST., 5000 block, 6 p.m. March 18 to 9 a.m. March 20. A saw blade was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a lock on a front door.

E ST., 1700 block, 10:15 to 10:21 a.m. March 20. A residence was entered by breaking a bathroom window.

EDGEWOOD ST., 500 block, 8:10 to 8:22 p.m. March 18. A residence was entered by a male intruder, who assaulted two residents.

H ST., 400 block, 2:30 a.m. March 19 to noon March 21. A TV was stolen from a residence entered by smashing a side window.

HOLBROOK ST., 1300 block, 8:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 20. An air compressor was stolen from a residence.

I ST., 2100 block, 7 to 11:25 a.m. March 19. Video game consoles were stolen from a residence.

K ST., 200 block, 2 p.m. March 20 to 5:30 a.m. March 23. Property was stolen from storage areas at a construction site.

L ST., 200 block, 7 p.m. March 19 to 5:45 a.m. March 20. Laptops were stolen from a construction site.

L ST., 200 block, 7 p.m. March 23 to 6:50 a.m. March 24. A stereo was stolen from a trailer at a construction site. The trailer was entered by forcing open a front door.

L ST., 900 block, 6:30 a.m. to 5:50 p.m. March 25. Property was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a front window.

M ST., 1800 block, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 23. Video game consoles and video games were stolen from a residence entered through a rear window.

MORSE ST., 1100 block, 3 p.m. March 20 to 3:20 p.m. March 25. TVs and a stereo were stolen from a residence entered by forcing open a basement door.

EIGHTH ST., 100 block, 1:30 to 6:10 p.m. March 20. Laptops and a door were stolen from a residence.

Northwest

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

SHERMAN AVE., 3 a.m. March 22. A male student raped a female acquaintance in a college dormitory.

ROBBERIES

COLUMBIA RD., 1700 block, 12:51 to 12:52 p.m. March 24. A male showed a gun to an employee in a grocery store when a cash register was opened. He took property and fled out the front door.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 3500 block, 6:40 p.m. A man snatched property from a table in a restaurant and fled.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 4200 block, 3:40 p.m. March 23. A man robbed a pedestrian at gunpoint of an iPod and an ATM card.

EDMUNDS ST. AND WISCONSIN AVE., 1 to 1:05 a.m. March 20. Two men pushed a male to the ground and robbed him of an iPhone. They fled in a vehicle.

ELM ST., 200 block, 8 p.m. March 13 to 3:30 p.m. March 25. Two men armed with a handgun entered an unlocked dormitory room and demanded money from a male occupant. Money was taken from a drawer before the intruders fled.

FLAGLER PL., 2000 block, 6 to 6:05 p.m. March 21. A gunman robbed a deliveryman of cash, credit cards and a cellphone, then fled.

GEORGIA AVE., 3500 block, 4:44 a.m. March 23. Two men armed with a handgun and a knife approached a male after he entered a car. One robber demanded cash, and the male gave up a wallet, which contained a driver's license and an employment card. Then robbers fled.

GEORGIA AVE., 3800 block, 1 a.m. March 20. A gunman demanded money through a service window at a convenience store. When an employee tried to give him cash, the gunman shut the window and fled.

GEORGIA AVE., 6500 block, 11:40 p.m. March 24. A male demanded cash from a male pedestrian in a parking lot and hit him on the head with his weapon. Three other males assaulted the pedestrian, and one removed groceries from his car. Another pedestrian was hit by the gunman and robbed of a cellphone.

JEFFERSON ST., 900 block, 9:53 to 9:55 p.m. March 22. Two pizza deliveryman were assaulted and robbed by four men. Pizzas and a cellphone were taken.

KALORAMA RD., 1800 block, 3 a.m. March 15 to 1:30 p.m. March 19. A group of males robbed a male pedestrian of a wallet containing an ID.

LAMONT ST., 600 block, 4:20 p.m. March 21. A female pedestrian's purse was snatched by a man riding a bicycle.

LUZON AVE., 6300 block, 6:05 p.m. March 24. A male sexually assaulted a female pedestrian and tried to rob her. A male was arrested.

MINTWOOD PL., 1800 block, 2 a.m. March 21. Several males approached a pedestrian, and one assaulted him and demanded cash. The pedestrian fled. Nothing was reported taken.

NEW JERSEY AVE., 400 block, 4:28 to 5 p.m. March 25. A man attacked a male who was holding cash. A struggle ensued, and the assailant grabbed the cash and fled. An arrest was made.

NEWTON ST., 1400 block, 11 p.m. March 23 to 12:30 a.m. March 24. Three males assaulted a male in an apartment building and took his wallet.

SPRING RD., 1500 block, 12:40 a.m. March 23. Two males assaulted a pedestrian and took a wallet containing a driver's license.

W ST., 1000 block, 1:13 p.m. March 25. A man assaulted and robbed a female in an alley.

W ST., 1300 block, 8 p.m. March 20. Two pedestrians were grabbed by two men, who demanded cash and other property. A fight ensued before the assailants fled with a backpack, a purse, a cellphone, an iPod Nano and other items.

WISCONSIN AVE., 4100 block, 2:55 to 2:56 a.m. March 19. A male asked a person for cash in a restaurant. The person pulled out money, and the male grabbed it and fled.

WISCONSIN AVE., 4 to 5 p.m. March 23. A wallet was stolen from a male's bag after it was placed on the ground.

SIXTH ST., 800 block, 12:04 to 1 a.m. March 23. Three men pulled a male off his bicycle and assaulted and robbed him.

11TH ST., 3500 block, 1:34 a.m. March 22. Three men assaulted a pedestrian and took a wallet and two cellphones.

12TH ST., 7700 block, 8:31 to 8:33 p.m. March 22. Three men armed with a handgun demanded property from a male. He gave up a wallet and an iPod.

13TH AND R STREETS, 2:40 p.m. Feb. 14. A female's purse was snatched from her shoulder.

13TH AND PEABODY STREETS, 10:03 p.m. March 20. Three males assaulted a male pedestrian, took his coat and fled in a vehicle.

13TH AND U STREETS, 2:30 a.m. March 21. A male approached two female pedestrians, and one was pulled to the ground by her purse strap and dragged several feet. A struggle ensued, and the assailant let go of the purse and approached her again. He was chased by a bystander.

14TH AND GIRARD STREETS, 6:25 p.m. March 23. A gunman and two accomplices robbed a pedestrian of tennis shoes, a coat, a cellphone and a chain with a diamond pendant.

14TH ST., 5900 block, 8:20 p.m. March 24. A vehicle was driven into a driveway of a parking area, and three men got out. They assaulted a male, took his wallet and fled in the vehicle.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BENTON ST., 4000 block, 7:30 a.m. March 10. A wireless Internet card was stolen from an apartment building. A search warrant was conducted in an apartment. The property was recovered, and an arrest was made.

F ST., 500 block, 1:30 p.m. March 20 to 5:15 a.m. March 21. Property was taken from a construction site office entered by breaking a window.

GARFIELD ST., 3600 block, 11:15 a.m. March 9 to 7:30 a.m. March 25. A gas-operated chain saw, a blower and an extension cord were stolen from an unlocked garage of a residence.

GEORGIA AVE., 3100 block, 1:06 to 1:47 a.m. March 24. Several cigarette cartons were stolen from a convenience store.

GEORGIA AVE., 4400 block, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 24. A laptop was stolen from an apartment entered by smashing a rear kitchen window with a brick.

KENYON ST., 1300 block, 9 a.m. to 5:31 p.m. March 23. A man was arrested at his apartment in connection with a theft.

M ST., 3400 block, 2:31 to 2:39 a.m. March 23. Property was stolen from a specialty store entered by smashing the front door with a rock.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 1-99 block, 9:30 p.m. March 19 to 8:55 a.m. March 20. A computer monitor was stolen from a religious institution entered by removing an air conditioner from a window.

S ST., 1400 block, 12:10 p.m. March 23 to 7 a.m. March 24. A laptop was stolen from a residence entered through a rear door. The intruder left through a front door.

WISCONSIN AVE., 1400 block, 9:15 p.m. March 24 to 10 a.m. March 25. Property was stolen from an office building entered by prying open rear doors.

FIRST ST., 1800 block, 9:45 p.m. March 23 to noon March 24. A laptop, a camera, a necklace, a ring and cash were stolen from a building entered by breaking a handle of a rear door.

FIFTH ST., 500 block, 3 p.m. March 20 to 11 a.m. March 21. Property was stolen from a trailer office entered by smashing a front window.

SEVENTH ST., 700 block. 2:16 to 5:09 a.m. March 25. Several bottles of liquor and pies were stolen from a restaurant entered through a front door.

13TH ST., 1800 block, 3:04 to 11 a.m. March 19. A carton of cigarettes was stolen from a convenience store entered by smashing glass.

13TH ST., 3500 block, 1:10 to 1:15 a.m. March 20. A person tried to enter a storage area of a specialty store. The person was seen leaving with a bag containing packs of cigarettes.

14TH ST., 3100 block, 7 p.m. March 24 to 1:15 a.m. March 25. The front door of a specialty store was smashed open. Nothing was reported stolen.

16TH ST., 3600 block, 10 p.m. March 18. A laptop and two gold bracelets were stolen from a residence.

18TH ST., 1800 block, 11 p.m. March 23 to 6 a.m. March 24. Several packs of gum and lighters were stolen from a service station entered by forcing open a money slot.

Southeast

HOMICIDES

ANACOSTIA RD., 300 block, 9:20 p.m., March 21. Melvin Norris, 20, of the 3100 block of M Place SE was found with gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

CHESAPEAKE ST., 1-99 block, 1:35 p.m. March 16. An unidentified person was found with gunshot wounds and cuts. The person was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

ROBBERIES

ALABAMA AVE., 4600 block, 8:53 a.m. Jan. 5 to 1 p.m. Jan. 6. A gunman tried to rob a male at a residence. The male fled in a vehicle.

BENNING RD., 5000 block, 12:30 to 12:35 a.m. March 20. Two gunmen robbed a pedestrian of property and fled in a vehicle.

E ST., 5300 block, 3:30 to 3:51 p.m. March 19. Two gunmen robbed a male at a residence of a cellphone and a jacket, then fled with an accomplice.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 2600 block, 5:30 p.m. March 25. A gunman robbed a female pedestrian of a coat and fled with three accomplices.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 2600 block, 12:10 p.m. March 19. Two gunmen robbed an employee at a church of keys.

SOUTHERN AVE., 4000 block, 10:05 to 10:13 p.m. March 23. A gunman and a male accomplice robbed a male of property, then forced him into a residence and robbed a resident of cash.

STANTON RD., 3200 block, 11:55 p.m. March 22. Two males robbed a person at a bus stop of a purse.

W ST., 1200 block, 1:20 p.m. March 23. A gunman robbed a female in a vehicle of a purse.

WAHLER PL., 900 block, 11:37 a.m. March 22. A gunman demanded property from a male pedestrian. The pedestrian said he had nothing, then was shot in the leg.

WHEELER RD., 4100 block, 12:25 p.m. March 25. Four people assaulted and robbed a male at a restaurant.

FOURTH AND G STREETS, 6:40 to 6:45 p.m. March 19. Two males assaulted a male pedestrian and took his backpack.

14TH ST. AND IVES PL., 8:25 to 8:26 p.m. March 20. A male assaulted a male pedestrian and took his cash and laptop.

46TH PL., 600 block, 3:45 to 3:48 p.m. March 22. A gunman forced a male from his vehicle, then assaulted and robbed him. The assailant then fled in the vehicle.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ALABAMA AVE., 1500 block, 7:40 to 9:40 a.m. March 23. TVs were stolen from a residence entered by smashing a rear window in a door.

ATLANTIC ST., 300 block, 8:30 p.m. March 21 to 9:45 a.m. March 24. Plumbing accessories were stolen from a construction site.

BARNABY ST., 800 block, 1:15 to 1:20 p.m. March 25. A video game console was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

BRUCE ST., 1400 block, 4:30 p.m. March 19 to 5:50 a.m. March 20. A refrigerator was stolen.

DOUGLASS RD., 2600 block, 4:45 a.m. March 25. Property was stolen from a residence.

EATON RD., 1200 block, 10:50 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 25. A laptop and a video game console were stolen from a residence.

NEWCOMB ST., 200 block, 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. March 20. TVs and video game consoles were stolen from a residence.

STANTON RD., 3000 block, 8 a.m. March 25. TVs, a laptop and a video game console were stolen from a residence.

STANTON RD., 3300 block, 6:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 24. Property was stolen from a residence.

STEVENS RD., 1200 block, 9:30 p.m. March 19 to 7:30 a.m. March 20. Video games, a stereo and a TV were stolen from a residence.

W ST., 3800 block, 10:25 to 10:30 p.m. March 20. A residence was entered by a man, who broke front windows and threatened a female resident. A man, 44, was arrested.

12TH ST., 1000 block, 12:30 to 12:36 p.m. March 21. Property was stolen from an apartment by a female intruder.

ROBBERIES

GALVESTON ST., 1-99 block, 10:25 p.m. March 20. A male was assaulted and robbed of a Social Security card and food.

I ST., 400 block, 3:50 p.m. March 19. Three males approached a male and tried to take property from him. Nothing was reported taken.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

GALVESTON PL., 1-99 block, 5 to 6 p.m. March 25. Food, a jewelry box, clothing, jewelry, a DVD player and a camera were stolen from a residence.

GALVESTON ST., 1-99 block, 12:59 p.m. March 24. A male answered a knock at the front door of his apartment and didn't see anyone. He heard rattling at a rear door and saw a male trying to enter. He detained the intruder, and an arrest was made.

SIXTH ST., 900 block, 4:15 to 4:20 a.m. March 20. A male forced open the front door of a residence. Nothing was reported taken.
