Most of us have some weight we'd like to see disappear. Maybe it's five pounds, 10 pounds or 50 pounds. But our columnist today went well beyond those measly numbers and managed to lose 100 -- an entire Hollywood starlet! -- without even appearing on a reality show.

I'm pretty impressed, and it seems you are, too: He racked up 18 percent of the vote in our pick-me-a-MisFits-partner online poll, the most of any contestant. (While D.C. might not have a vote in Congress, Post readers have had a say in who'll be hanging out in this space.)

Commenters were eager to hear from a guy who's been there and done that. "Having [overcome] the numerous problems faced in trying to lose weight, Contender No. 1 has the most knowledge and experience to dispense practical advice to readers on losing weight," one opined.
