DARNESTOWN RD., 13300 block, 6:45 p.m. March 28. A pedestrian was shot in the arm by a pellet gun fired from a black SUV.

LEWIS AVE., 2100 block, 8:35 p.m. March 29. A vehicle being driven with its headlights off hit a woman getting out of a vehicle. The motorist drove away without stopping.

ROBBERIES

GUDE DR E., 600 block, 1:25 p.m. March 28. During an argument at a homeless shelter, a male was cut with a knife. A man was arrested.

SHADY GROVE RD., 16000 block, 2 a.m. March 29. A male at a motel attacked a male. The victim said that he was knocked unconscious and that when he awoke, he discovered that property was missing.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ADAMS ST. N., 100 block, March 24 to 25. Property was stolen from a bail-bond business entered by force.

BURGUNDY DR., 600 block, 3:40 p.m. March 27. A man trying to force a door at a residence fled when confronted by an occupant.

DAHILL RD., 4200 block, March 27 to 30. Coins were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

GARRETT PARK RD., 4200 block, 1:30 to 11 a.m. March 29. A stereo faceplate, a purse and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

GARRETT PARK RD., 4200 block, 1:30 to 11 a.m. March 29. A vehicle was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

GARRETT PARK RD., 4300 block, 12:30 to 8 a.m. March 24. A case of bottled water was stolen from a vehicle's trunk vehicle.

KING FARM BLVD., 800 block, 9:10 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 25. Cash, CDs, a Global Positioning System device and a stereo were among items stolen from two vehicles entered by force.

MANNAKEE ST., 1 to 100 block, 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 24. A laptop computer, a wallet, a backpack, a digital music player and a tennis racquet were stolen from a vehicle in a college parking lot.

MANNAKEE ST., 1 to 100 block, 6:13 to 7:15 p.m. March 25. A digital music player was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

MEADOW HALL DR., 300 block, 7:45 p.m. March 30. A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. Two males were seen fleeing.

CROOKSTON LANE, 12900 block, March 26 to 27. A 2005 Yamaha motorcycle was stolen.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

EAST WEST HWY., 1500-1900 block, March 29. A man forced his way into a woman's apartment and sexually assaulted her. She escaped, and a man was arrested at the scene.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 8800 block, 4 p.m. March 23. A man exposed himself on a train. A man was arrested at the Twinbrook Metro station and was charged with indecent exposure.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

DEMOCRACY BLVD., 7100 block, March 23. A man leaving a department store was robbed of his wallet . He said that two men had offered to help him with the door and that he had felt one of them touch him near his pocket.

FARMLAND DR., 11200 block, March 27 to 29. Two bicycles were stolen from an open garage at a residence.

HARWICK RD., 5900 block, 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. March 25. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

ROCKLEDGE DR. AND FERNWOOD RD., 1:15 p.m. March 26. A male at a bus stop grabbed a purse from a female and fled on foot.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 11300 block, 7 to 9:30 p.m. March 27. A wallet was taken from the purse of a customer in a restaurant. A credit card that had been in the wallet was used to make unauthorized purchases.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 11500 block, 1 to 9:30 a.m. March 23. A pizza restaurant was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

UNIVERSITY BLVD., 3100 block, 12:30 a.m. March 26. A tire was stolen from a vehicle and an attempt was made to remove a second tire. Police responding to a call stopped a vehicle carrying the stolen tire and arrested several people.

BRIGGS CHANEY RD., 3000 block, 11:35 p.m. March 27. Four males attacked a pedestrian and robbed him of property.

PINEY BRANCH RD., 9000 block, 4:13 a.m. March 25. Three men wearing bandanas over their faces entered a residence, attacked an occupant who had been sleeping, took property and fled.

QUEBEC TERR. AND 11TH AVE., 9:08 a.m. March 30. A male threatened a pedestrian, took property from him and fled to a waiting green Nissan Altima.

BELVEDERE PL., 9700 block, 1:50 p.m. March 27. Property was stolen from a residence.

GEORGIA AVE., 11100 block, 7:30 a.m. March 28. Three males on a Metro station platform attacked a male. After knocking him down, the assailants fled with property.

BRIGADIER PL., 26000 block, 6:15 p.m. March 25. Two males attacked a man walking into his apartment. After punching him in the face, they took property and fled. Two males were arrested.

CENTURY BLVD., 19900 block, 12:51 p.m. March 30. A male filled a prescription for medication and ran from the pharmacy without paying.

LAYTONSVILLE RD., 6800 block, 12:19 p.m. March 24. Four armed males robbed a convenience store. Four males were arrested.

BROMFIELD RD., 13900 block, 9 a.m. to noon March 30. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force. At 12:05 p.m., a residence was broken into in the 13800 block of Rockingham Road. Two people arrested at the scene admitted to the earlier burglary on Bromfield Road.

BUBBLING SPRING TERR., 18300 block, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. March 23. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

FREDERICK AVE. N., 400 block, 10 p.m. March 26. An assault occurred at an apartment. Three people were arrested. Three other assailants were being sought.

SKYHILL WAY, 9700 block, 7:30 p.m. March 24. A domestic assault occurred.

TRAVIS AND NORTH FREDERICK AVENUES, 10:10 p.m. March 28. A motorist rammed his vehicle into another vehicle in an attempt to stop a female acquaintance from leaving the area. The motorist was arrested at the scene.

ROBBERIES

APPLE SEED LANE, 11:30 a.m. March 29. A man riding a bicycle near a walking path got off the bike, assaulted a woman and demanded cash. The assailant fled empty-handed when confronted by a passerby. A man was arrested nearby.

DOCENA CT., 1:30 p.m. March 27. In what police described as a home-invasion robbery, a man entered a residence, searched most of the rooms, took property and fled.

NATHAN'S PL., 18800 block, 5:20 to 5:40 p.m. March 30. Five male teenagers asked a man if they could use his cellphone, assaulted him and fled. A short time later, the group tried to rob a pedestrian in the 9900 block of Lake Landing Drive. Their intended victim in the second incident was an plainclothes police officer. Five youths were arrested.

RUSSELL AVE., 700 block, 4:20 p.m. March 26. A man in a shopping mall grabbed an armored-car employee on an escalator and threatened her at knifepoint. After a brief struggle, the assailant fled empty-handed.

RUSSELL AVE., 700 block, 3 a.m. March 28. Two men in a mall parking lot attacked a man getting into his car and fled with property.

STREAMSIDE DR., 18300 block, 6:52 p.m. March 28. A masked man robbed a man in a vehicle of property at gunpoint.

CALABAR DR., 18000 block, 9 p.m. March 25 to 6 a.m. March 26. Tools were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

CHURCH ST. AND ROCKVILLE PIKE, 5:15 p.m. March 31. After a traffic stop, a Silver Spring man, 18, and a 16-year-old Takoma Park male were charged with possession of a concealed and dangerous weapon. During the stop, a 16-year-old District male was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ADAMS ST. N., 1 to 100 block, 10 p.m. March 24 to 9 a.m. March 25. A business was entered through an unlocked basement door. Nothing was reported missing.

ANDERSON AVE., 500 block, 8:30 p.m. April 4 to 7:15 a.m. April 5. A digital music player was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

DOUGLAS AVE., 700 block, 5 p.m. March 23 to 5 p.m. March 28. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

JEFFERSON ST. E., 600 block, 10 p.m. March 27 to 11 a.m. March 30. Two personal computers were stolen from an office.

VEIRS MILL RD., 1900 block, 2:40 p.m. March 30. A man, 27, was charged with credit-card fraud and attempted theft.

WALL ST., 100 block, 2 a.m. April 4. A digital music player with case, an FM transmitter, cash and an ashtray were among items stolen from two unlocked vehicles.

CARJACKINGS

BEECH AVE,. 9:10 p.m. April 7. Five males robbed a pizza deliveryman as he approached residence to which a fake order had been placed. The gunmen then forced a passenger from the victim's gold-colored 2003 Toyota Corolla and drove away in it.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

LARCH AVE., 900 block, 1:01 to 9 a.m. April 4. Property was stolen from a vehicle.

13TH AVE., 7100 block, April 9. Police responding to a report of a break-in arrested a man and charged him with theft under $100. The stolen property was recovered.
