-- Five Barbados resorts in the Elegant Hotels Group have discounts of up to 40 percent on stays booked by May 31. Turtle Beach Resort, Tamarind Cove Hotel and Colony Club Hotel are offering discounts of 40 percent, and Crystal Cove Hotel and the House are offering 30 percent reductions. Three-night minimum stay required at all properties except Colony Club, which requires a five-night minimum. Prices vary. For example, three nights at the all-inclusive 164-suite Turtle Beach Resort in late June starts at $792 for two, a savings of $528. -- Twelve boutique and luxury hotels in Beverly Hills, Calif., have a Breakfast in Beverly Hills deal. Offer varies by property, but most include reduced rates and free breakfasts through Aug. 31. For example, book four nights at the Crescent Hotel for $210 a night, plus $29 taxes, and receive the fifth night free, plus breakfast for two, worth about $13 per person per meal. Book by May 31. -- Firefighters and police officers get an average of 20 percent off the best rate on select Royal Caribbean (800-769-2522, http://www.royalcaribbean.com), Celebrity (800-437-3111, http://www.celebritycruises.com) and Azamara (877-999-9553, http://www.azamaracruises.com). Passengers in the same stateroom are also eligible for the discount. For example, a seven-night Caribbean cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas departing Miami on May 23 is $1,684 per couple, including $126 taxes and fees, for an ocean-view cabin; regular fare for two is $2,724. Active employees of local, state and federal law enforcement agencies and fire departments in the United States must provide proof of employment (badge or ID card). The deal, announced last month, is ongoing.

-- Book any 2009 departure of the seven-night Splendid Waterways of the Czars cruise with General Tours World Traveler and receive cabin upgrades. Book a cabin deck stateroom for $2,299 per person double (including taxes) and get upgraded to a $3,599 main deck cabin, a savings of $1,300 per person. Or, book a main deck stateroom and get upgraded to the promenade deck, a $1,250 savings. Also, AARP members who book by April 30 receive a discount of $560 per couple (book later and receive a $280 discount). -- Book and pay for a 2010 cruise to Costa Rica's Cocos Island with Cruise West by May 22, and get $1,200 off per cabin.
