The body of an adult male was found around 9:30 a.m., approximately 400 yards south of Chain Bridge Road on the District side, said Officer Helen Andrews.

Last Sunday, Jorge Castro, 11, of Winchester, slipped from some rocks and fell into the river as he was fishing with his father. Jorge has been missing ever since.

Based on interviews with witnesses, police believe Hau T. Nguyen, 37, jumped into the river to try to help the boy.
