MEADOW HALL DR., 200 block, April 16. A man exposed himself at a library. A man was arrested.

ROBBERIES

BALTIMORE RD., 2100 block, 2:30 p.m. April 14. A male attacked a male at a bus stop and tried to take his digital music player and earphones. After a struggle, the assailant fled with the earphones.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BALTIMORE RD., 2000 block, April 17 to 18. Property was stolen from a vehicle.

ACCORD DR., 9600 block, April 21. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

BITTERROOT WAY, 15200 block, April 19 to April 20. Loose change was stolen from two unlocked vehicles.

CARROLL AVE. E., 12300 block, 10:30 to 11 p.m. April 16. Responded to a call about a person acting suspiciously, police detained a male and found in his backpack property that had been stolen from a vehicle. A male was arrested.

CERVANTES AVE., 14500 block, April 16 to 17. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

CRAWFORD DR., 1300 block, April 13 to 14. An attempt was made to break into a residence.

CROOKSTON LANE, 12900 block, 3 to 10 p.m. April 16. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

FOUNDERS MILL DR., 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 16. A residential burglary occurred. Four people were arrested.

HALPINE RD., 100 block, April 15 to 19. Property was stolen from two apartments entered by force.

HUNGERFORD DR., 800 block, April 18 to 19. Property was stolen from a restaurant entered by force.

LANCRAFT LANE, 14700 block, April 16 to 17. A Global Positioning System device and cash were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

MAHAN CT., 4400 block, 2:30 a.m. April 19. Someone attempted to enter a vehicle by breaking a window. An alarm went off. Nothing was reported missing.

MARIAN DR., 14200 block, 1:30 p.m. April 14. A man trying to pry open a back door at a residence fled when confronted by barking dogs and a resident. The intruder left the scene with two other males in a red 1990 BMW.

MONROE PL., 1 to 100 block, April 15. Global Positioning System devices were stolen from two vehicles entered by force in a parking garage.

PEBBLE RIDGE CT., 10:30 to 11:03 p.m. April 15. Jewelry and clothing were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

COVE LANE, 14000 block, April 16. A 2007 Jeep Liberty that had been reported stolen April 15 was recovered in Germantown.

COLSTON DR., 2400 block, April 17 to 18. A Global Positioning System device and a satellite radio unit were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

CRESCENT ST., 4800 block, 10:20 to 11:59 p.m. April 17. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

DERBY RIDGE LANE, 2100 block, April 19 to 20. Cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

WHITE OAK AREA, 5:20 p.m. April 15. A person sexually assaulted an acquaintance.

GEORGIA AVE., 8500 block, 3:45 p.m. April 14. A man stood outside of a business and exposed himself to employees inside. A man was arrested.

ASSAULTS

PINEY BRANCH RD., 8600 block, 1:25 a.m. April 16. Four men attacked a man and man who came to his assistance. Both victims were stabbed with scissors.

ROBBERIES

LOCKWOOD AND DECEMBER DRIVES, 6:54 p.m. April 21. A group of at least 10 people attacked a male and robbed him of his pants and shoes.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 11100 block, 5:15 p.m. April 21. Two males at a bus stop implied they had weapons and robbed two male teenagers of their jackets.

XAVERIA CT., 1300 block, 3:50 p.m. April 18. A man in a vehicle followed a woman driving home from a shopping center. As she was getting out of her vehicle, he threatened her and fled with her purse.

LAYHILL RD., 14400 block, 12:45 a.m. April 20. A gunman grabbed a convenience-store employee, but fled when confronted by another employee who appeared from the back of the store.

MARKSMAN CIR., 18100 block, 3:27 p.m. April 21. Three male teenagers struggled with a man and robbed him of personal property.

OLNEY-SANDY SPRING RD., 2700 block, 3 p.m. April 20. Three males followed a youth across a street, knocked him down and robbed him of property.

RANDOLPH RD., 1 to 100 block, 2:45 p.m. April 15. Two men wearing masks robbed restaurant employees of cash at gunpoint.

BELGRADE RD. N., 1000 block, 11:30 p.m. April 15. An attempt was made to enter an occupied residence.

COLLEGE VIEW DR., 11800 block, 9 a.m. to 3:44 p.m. April 13. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

COPPER MOUNTAIN TERR., 2400 block, 10:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 16. Property was stolen from a residence.

AIRCRAFT DR., 19900 block, 5 p.m. April 16. A male on a bus snatched a digital music player from a male passenger and handed it to a female accomplice. The pair tried to get off the bus, but the driver detained the male. A male was arrested.

TURTLE ROCK TERR. AND GRAND ELM ST., 6 to 7 p.m. April 15. A male punched an acquaintance and fled with personal property.

BENT WILLOW CT., 18400 block, April 18. A Global Positioning System device, a satellite radio and a highway-toll pass were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

BRONCO DR., 19000 block, April 15 to 16. An unlocked vehicle was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

SHADY GROVE RD., 15700 block, 4:30 p.m. April 16. A department store loss-prevention officer struggled with a male suspected of shoplifting. The male and a male acquaintance who intervened were arrested and charged with strong-arm robbery.

SILVER LEAF DR., 18000 block, April 13 to 14. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

SPARR SPRING RD., 19600 block, April 14. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

HONEY BROOK LANE, 7:30 a.m. April 16. A male got into a vehicle that had been left with its engine running. When the vehicle owner returned, the male jumped out and fled with two other males in a green four-door vehicle.

ARDENNES AVE., 13200 block, 5:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 22. A laptop computer and an Internet transformer were stolen from a bedroom in a group home.

HALPINE RD., 100 block, 5 p.m. April 18 to 1 p.m. April 19. A camera and a soft drink were stolen from a rental office at an apartment complex entered through an unsecured gate.

HUNGERFORD DR., 600 block, 2:45 to 3:10 p.m. April 22. Two women, ages 19 and 26, were charged with shoplifting.

LEWIS AVE., 800 block, 9 a.m. April 5 to 5 p.m. April 17. An attempt was made to break into a residence by prying open a basement window.

PICCARD DR., 1300 block, 1:34 p.m. April 24. A purse containing food stamps, cash, credit cards and a prescription was stolen from a vehicle.

RESEARCH BLVD., 2500 block, 8 p.m. April 23 to 7:30 a.m. April 24. A backpack, 20 CDs and several books and magazines were stolen from a vehicle in a hotel parking lot.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1500 block, 3:33 p.m. April 24. Two hair dryers, two containers of facial cream and two razors were stolen from a retail store.

SHADY GROVE RD., 14900 block, 2:14 to 2:20 a.m. April 23. A video-game console was stolen from a retail store entered by force.

SOUTHLAWN CT., 1 to 100 block, 11:07 to 11:09 p.m. April 21. A cellphone was stolen from a counter at a retail store.

WASHINGTON ST. N., 100 block, 3:45 to 4:20 p.m. April 24. A bag and a set of keys were stolen from an office.
