FREDERICK RD., 15800 block, 9:06 p.m. may 4. Two males wearing masks took cash and property from a gas station and fled on foot.

RANDOLPH AND VEIRS MILL ROADS, 8 p.m. April 28. A male demanded cash from a woman outside a fast-food restaurant at knifepoint. When she refused, he fled empty-handed.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ADAMS ST. N., 100 block, 9:30 p.m. April 29 to 11 a.m. April 30. Property was stolen from a bail-bonds business entered by force.

BELMART RD., 8700 block, 10:30 p.m. April 28 to 1 a.m. April 29. An attempt was made to break into a residence.

EDMONSTON DR. W., 900 block, 1:05 a.m. May 2. A person entered an unlocked residence through a front door, then fled empty-handed when confronted by an occupant. A person was arrested nearby.

GARRETT PARK RD., 4100 block, 10:30 p.m. April 30 to 7:20 a.m. May 1. A vehicle was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

ELSMERE AVE., 5500 block, 8:30 a.m. May 3. A man tried to force a door at a residence. He fled when confronted by an occupant.

ENGLISHMAN DR., 10400 block, 11 p.m. April 27 to 6:30 a.m. April 28. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

FRIENDSHIP BLVD., 5300 block, 10:30 to 11:30 p.m. April 27. Spools of copper wiring were stolen from a construction site.

GRANT AVE., 10000 block, 7:30 p.m. April 29 to 6:28 a.m. April 30. Property was stolen from a residence entered through the garage. Access was gained through the use of a stolen garage-door opener.

GROVE RIDGE RD., 10500 block, 10 p.m. April 27 to 6:55 a.m. April 28. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

HILL DR. W., 11600 block, 2:16 a.m. May 1. Loose change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

LOCKWOOD DR., 11300 block, 5:50 p.m. May 4. A male harassed a female outside a fast-food restaurant, then followed her into a restroom and sexually assaulted her.

PINEY BRANCH RD., 8800 block, 3 p.m. April 30. A man followed a woman walking to her apartment building, then engaged her in conversation, groped her and fled.

ROBBERIES

BRADFORD RD., 8800 block, 2:08 a.m. May 1. A man struck a man, implied that he had a weapon and robbed him of property. A man was arrested.

BUCKINGHAM DR., 800 block, 7:50 p.m. April 29. A man grabbed a pedestrian, took property from her, pushed her to the ground and fled.

GLENVILLE RD. AND UNIVERSITY BLVD., 11:13 p.m. April 29. Two men attacked a pedestrian and robbed him of property at gunpoint.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 11100 block, 4 a.m. May 2. Five males attacked a male and robbed him of cash and property at knifepoint.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 11200 block, 10:22 a.m. April 29. A man robbed an armored car delivery driver of cash at gunpoint as he was entering a bank, then fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

AVENEL GARDEN LANE, 10100 block, 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. April 30. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

BRANTFORD AVE., 1100 block, 1:20 p.m. April 29. Property was taken from a residence entered by force. Two males were seen fleeing with the property in a green Honda.

BURNT MILLS AREA, April 28 to May 4. Cash and property including computer equipment and electronic devices were stolen from 23 vehicles entered by force.

CANNON RD., 600 block, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 29. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

SANDY SPRING RD., 4300 block, 3:36 a.m. April 27. Property was stolen from a landscape-plant nursery entered by force.

SOUTHWEST DR., 400 block, 9 p.m. May 2 to 7 a.m. May 3. Property was stolen from a shed entered by force.

TAKOMA AVE., 8000 block, BONAIRE CT., 8100 block, RITCHIE AVE., 700 block, CAMERON ST., 8500 and 8600 blocks, COLESVILLE RD., 8400 block, BONIFANT RD., 1100 block, SPRING ST., 1000 block, and DIXON ST., 8500 block, April 28 to May 2. Thirteen vehicles were broken into, 10 of them at parking garages and lots. Property including a handgun, a Global Positioning System device, a laptop computer and stereo equipment were stolen.

ROBBERIES

GRANDVIEW AVE., 11200 block, 3:30 a.m. April 29. An armed robbery occurred in an alley near a restaurant. The victim said he was set up by a female he met inside the restaurant shortly before the incident.

LAYHILL RD., 12500 block, 4:15 a.m. May 3. A man followed a male as he left a convenience store and robbed him of property at gunpoint.

MINDEN RD. AND BUSHEY DR., 8:45 p.m. May 2. Two women got out of a vehicle and attacked and robbed a female pedestrian.

VEIRS MILL RD. AND DALEWOOD DR., 11:15 p.m. April 30. Three males carrying sticks tried to rob two boys of their bicycles. The boys refused, and the assailants fled on foot.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BEL PRE RD., 3900 block, 11:30 a.m. April 30. Property was stolen from an occupied apartment. The victim said that he had heard someone open his unlocked door but thought that it was an acquaintance.

BRIGGS RD., 2000 block, 10 to 10:28 a.m. April 27. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

CABINWOOD DR., 13200 block, 9:15 to 10:45 a.m. April 29. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

FAIRLAND RD., 1100 block, 3 to 4 p.m. April 28. A person entered a residence by force, then fled empty-handed when confronted by a resident returning to the home.

FLORAL ST., 3400 block, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 29. An attempt was made to break into a residence.

GAIL ST., 11600 block, 6 p.m. May 2 to 1:30 a.m. May 3. Property was stolen from a residence.

HENDERSON AVE., 3200 block, 4 p.m. May 4. An attempt was made to break into a residence.

NORBECK RD., 4900 block, 8:15 a.m. May 3. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

QUEEN ELIZABETH DR., 17500 block, JOHN CARROLL DR., 3400 and 3500 blocks, PRINCE EDWARD DR., 17600 block, QUEEN MARY DR., 3600 block, STAFFORD RD., 4200 block, 11 p.m. April 28 to 6:35 a.m. April 29. Global Positioning System devices were among property stolen from eight unlocked vehicles.

TOWN CENTER DR., 18100 block, 8:15 a.m. April 30. A man, 18, was found sleeping in a closed movie theater.

ROBBERIES

BELLE CHASE DR. AND SWEET MEADOWS LANE, 4:20 p.m. May 5. Two people got out of a red four-door Chevrolet and robbed a male pedestrian of property, then fled in the vehicle with two accomplices.

CLOPPER RD. AND CINNAMON DR.., 9:50 p.m. April 30. Four men attacked a male on a bus and fled with property.

MATENY RD., 18000 block, 3:50 p.m. April 29. A man robbed a video store of cash at gunpoint, then fled with an accomplice to a red Ford F-150 pickup with a landscape trailer being driven by a female.

MIDDLEBROOK AND GUNNERS BRANCH ROADS, 3:30 to 4:30 a.m. May 3. Four male teenagers attacked and robbed a male pedestrian, then fled in a small vehicle.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ALDENHAM CT., 19100 block, 8 p.m. April 28 to 3:30 p.m. April 30. An attempt was made to break into a vehicle.

CROSS LAUREL CT., 1 to 100 block, 3 p.m. April 28 to 5:30 a.m. April 29. Tools were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

FREDERICK RD., 21000 block, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. April 28. A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

FREDERICK RD., 22600 block, 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 5. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

GUNNERS BRANCH RD., 19600 block, 5:25 to 5:30 a.m. April 30. A purse and a video-game system were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

HARMONY WOODS LANE, 18700 block, 12:52 p.m. May 5. An attempt was made to break into a residence. The home was damaged, but nothing was reported missing.

LARKSONG DR., 13700 block, noon to 3 p.m. May 4. Property was taken from a residence.

PINNACLE DR. AND GERMANTOWN RD., 4 p.m. April 30. A man snatched a purse from a female standing at a bus stop.

RAYFIELD DR., 19400 block, 7 p.m. May 2 to noon May 3. Two bikes were stolen from an unlocked garage at a residence.

SKIP JACK DR., 12100 block, May 1. A gray 2008 Ford Mustang was stolen from a residence. The resident told police that a burglary had occurred at the home on April 24 but was not reported because nothing had been taken.

WARING STATION RD. AND CHURUBUSCO LANE, 7:45 a.m. May 2. Two males tried to break into a truck, then fled on foot when police arrived.

ROTHBURY DR., 9100 block, 9:15 p.m. April 30. Two men with their faces covered robbed a beer-and-wine store of cash at gunpoint.

SHADY GROVE RD., 15900 block, 1:50 a.m. May 4. Two males wearing masks robbed a convenience store of cash and cigarettes at gunpoint.

LAGUNA DR., 19400 block, 7:30 to 11 a.m. May 1. Property was taken from a residence in what police said was a domestic incident.

MAIN ST., 400 block, 8 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. April 29. A handicapped-parking placard was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

HUNGERFORD DR., 400 block, 2:07 a.m. May 9. A man, 31, was charged with second-degree assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was also charged with child neglect in connection with a prior incident.

VEIRS MILL RD., 11:40 a.m. May 10. A man, 41, of no fixed address was charged with second-degree assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

AZALEA DR., 500 block, 10 p.m. May 2 to 9 a.m. May 3. A camera was stolen from a residence.

CORAL SEA DR., 1300 block, 8 p.m. May 6 to 1:40 p.m. May 9. A chainsaw was stolen from an unlocked shed.

FALLS GROVE DR., 700 block, 10:30 p.m. May 8 to 7 a.m. May 9. Property including two laptop computers, computer software, a camera, a watch, a checkbook, a book bag, a digital music player, four DVDs, a hammer drill, a stud gun and other tools were stolen from a vehicle.

GIBBS ST., 100 block, 10:59 p.m. May 8. A laptop computer was stolen from an office.

GUDE DR. E., 1300 block, 1:50 to 2:19 p.m. May 4. A purse and a cellphone were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

KING FARM BLVD., 700 block, 10:10 p.m. May 8 to 9:50 a.m. May 9. A cash register was stolen from a restaurant entered through an unlocked side door.

LOFSTRAND LANE, 600 block, 1:20 a.m. May 9. A 47-year-old Rockville man was charged with possession of burglary tools in connection with an incident at this location.

MANNAKEE ST., 1 to 100 block, 1 p.m. May 4. A cellphone was stolen from a table in a Montgomery College building.

MARYLAND AVE., 1 to 100 block, 8 to 8:15 p.m. May 6. A purse, a hat and a set of keys were stolen from the lobby of a library.

MONTGOMERY AVE. W., 1 to 100 block, 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. May 5. Cash and credit cards were stolen from a purse in an office.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 200 block, 1:30 to 1:45 p.m. May 4. A wallet was stolen from the purse of a female passenger on a bus. A male was seen leaving the bus with the property.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 700 block, 2 to 4 a.m. May 2. Three computers and a CD radio were stolen from a printing business entered through an unlocked rear door.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1600 block, 11 to 11:20 a.m. May 1. Several items of clothing were stolen from a retail store.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1600 block, 2:30 a.m. May 9. Clothing was stolen from a retail store.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1700 block, 3:05 to 6:15 p.m. May 9. A pair of eyeglasses, a pair of sunglasses, cosmetics, a pair of shoes and a backpack were stolen from a vehicle.

SHADY GROVE RD., 15000 block, 9:20 to 9:25 a.m. May 5. A pair of sunglasses was stolen from a retail store.

TAFT ST., 1000 block, 6:30 p.m. May 7 to 6:30 a.m. May 8. Two catalytic converters were stolen from a vehicle at an auto repair business.

VEIRS MILL RD., 2200 block, 4:30 to 5 a.m. May 9. Six jars of cleanser were stolen from a retail store.
