Swastikas were found spraypainted on an elementary school in Bowie this morning and on a Prince George's County police cruiser that was parked nearby, authorities said.
A passerby called police at about 8 a.m. to report finding gafitti, including numbers believed to represent Adolf Hitler's birthday, at Yorktown Elementary School, officials said. A police car parked on Yarmouth Lane, near the school, was painted with the same markings.
Police have no suspects but are investigating the incident as a bias crime, officials said.
