Mountaintop Technologies has won at least $40 million in federal business, most of it without competition, for a wide range of projects, including the following:
-- Manage an airport.
-- Develop customized computer software.
-- Develop parts for robotics.
-- Test and evaluate amphibious firefighting aircraft.
-- Create video simulations to teach Air Force anesthesiologists how to insert needles.
-- Study safety of rifles compared with shotguns and muzzleloaders.
-- Develop coordinated emergency communications for police and emergency personnel.
-- Research and build a broadband system to help rural areas get cheaper Internet access.
