Where: Maryland SoccerPlex, Boyds. When: Today, 4 p.m.

Team records: FC Gold Pride (3-4-1), Washington Freedom (2-2-3).

Washington hosts FC Gold Pride, a team it beat, 4-3, on April 26 for its first Women's Professional Soccer victory -- a win that started the Freedom's current four-game unbeaten streak. Washington will welcome back star forward Abby Wambach, who missed the past two games because of a suspension and U.S. women's national team duty. Wambach scored her only two goals of the season against FC Gold Pride, a Bay Area-based team that has lost four of its past six games. The Freedom has been boosted by the addition of goalkeeper Erin McLeod, who has allowed two goals in two starts -- a vast improvement over the nine goals given up by Washington in the three games before McLeod's introduction to the lineup.
