Info: The Freedom makes its second trip to Los Angeles to play the Sol; the teams met on March 29 in the WPS inaugural game, a 2-0 Sol victory. The rematch features the top teams in the seven-team league -- the first-place Sol and the second-place Freedom. The attack for Los Angeles is run through Brazilian Marta (four goals, two assists) and fellow midfielder Camille Abily (four goals). Abily and Freedom midfielder Sonia Bompastor are members of France's national team and were former teammates at Olympique Lyonnais. Bompastor has been the most consistent player for the Freedom and was named WPS player of the month for May. She had two goals and three assists over the span and helped Washington post a 2-0-2 record. Goalkeeper Erin McLeod has allowed three goals in three games since joining the team.
