More Details Revealed An affidavit filed yesterday in court by the FBI provided a clearer chronology of Wednesday's shooting:

-- Security guard Steven T. Johns opened the door for assailant James W. von Brunn as the white supremacist approached the museum. Von Brunn then shot Johns in the upper left chest area.

-- Von Brunn "continued through the door and raised his firearm as if to fire again" and was fired upon by two security guards. Von Brunn was hit in the face and fell backward out the door.

-- A total of 11 shots were fired in the incident.

-- Police found a notebook in von Brunn's car with anti-Semitic writings that were also critical of President Obama.
