-- Two small companies that specialize in wine tours have reduced their prices on several escorted trips to Europe. La Dolce Vita Wine Tours (888-746-0022, http://www.dolcetours.com) is offering discounts of $400 per person on two tours in Italy. The five-night Discover Sicily trip, which begins Sept. 7, is $2,595 per person double, and the four-night Venice to Amarone trip, departing Sept. 21, is $2,345. Both include lodging, many meals, sightseeing and taxes. Select Wine Journeys (604-882-9649, http://www.selectwinejourneys.com) has $600 discounts on two tours to France's Loire Valley. Regional Cuisine & Wine Week, Sept. 20-26, is now $2,395 per person double, and History & Wine in the Loire Valley, Oct. 4-10, is $2,295. Both include lodging, most meals, sightseeing and taxes. Airfare is extra on all tours.

-- The Mave, a new boutique hotel scheduled to open in Manhattan July 2, is offering a third night free. Rates start at $189 for a room with a queen-size bed. -- Premier Inn is offering advance purchase rates of $47 per night, including taxes, at more than 100 hotels across the United Kingdom. Book online at http://www.premierinn.com at least 21 days in advance and stay at least two nights between July 9 and Sept. 6. In the London area, the Docklands, Elstree and Kew properties are participating. Rate at Premier Inn Docklands, for example, usually starts at $109 weekends and $144 weekdays.


-- Disney Cruise Line is offering shipboard credits of $100 per cabin per night for veranda staterooms on its cruises from Port Canaveral, Fla., to the Caribbean and the Bahamas. Deal applies to three-night cruises departing June 25-Aug. 6, four-night cruises departing June 28-Aug. 9 and seven-night sailings June 20-Aug. 8. Pricing varies by cruise. -- JetBlue is offering a Tropicool Sale of $99 each way from New York to its new Caribbean destinations. Travel to Barbados starts Oct. 1; to St. Lucia, Oct. 26 (Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays only); and to Kingston, Jamaica, Oct. 30. Taxes vary. Round-trip fare from New York to Barbados, for example, is $281, including taxes of $83. Other airlines are matching, but fare typically starts at $372. -- Austrian Airlines is offering winter vacation packages to Vienna, Prague or Budapest. The City Steals deal includes round-trip airfare from Washington Dulles, three nights' lodging and breakfasts. Package is $799 per person double (plus about $95 taxes) to Vienna and $799 (plus about $135 taxes) to Prague or Budapest. Savings vary. -- The Barbados Tourism Authority has teamed with travel providers to offer the Best of Barbados package for travel Sept. 1-Dec. 18. More than 40 hotels are participating. Prices vary.
