CALVIN ST., 400 block, 11:10 p.m. May 30. Shots were fired. An arrest was made at the scene.

ASSAULTS

FREDERICK AND SHADY GROVE ROADS, 5:39 p.m. May 28. A male attacked a male doing maintenance work at a bus stop shelter. The assailant was detained until police arrived. A male was arrested.

ROBBERIES

CRAWFORD DR., 1700 block, 7 p.m. June 2. Property was taken from a business entered through an unlocked door. A man was seen fleeing with the property.

ELMCROFT BLVD., 600 block, 2 p.m. May 29. Two men near a building robbed a delivery person of cash and food at knifepoint.

PLEASANT CIR., 1100 block, 12:05 a.m. June 3. A male responding to an advertisement to purchase a laptop computer was allowed inside a residence, then attacked the occupant, grabbed the computer and fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CARTER RD., 700 block, 9:45 to 10:16 p.m. May 29. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

CHARLES ST., 300 block, 10 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. June 1. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

DENHAM CT., 11:40 a.m. June 2. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

HUNGERFORD DR., 500 block, 4:30 p.m. May 28 to 7 a.m. May 29. Property was stolen from a retail paint store.

JUNIPER HILL RD., 9900 block, 11:30 p.m. May 26. Several people entered a garage at a residence through an a damaged door panel and fled when confronted. Several arrests were made.

LIBERTY LANE, 8900 block, 8 a.m. May 31. An employee attacked an employee at a nursing home. Police said it was a domestic incident.

MARTINS LANE, 300 block, 5 a.m. May 30. A person entered a swim center and was confronted by an employee. An arrest was made at the scene.

NIMITZ AVE., 300 block, 1:58 a.m. to 2:15 a.m. June 2. Three people were seen breaking into vehicles. Three people were arrested nearby.

PASTURE BROOK WAY, 1700 block, 9 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. May 28. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

RANDOLPH RD., 5400 block, May 26 to 28. A catalytic converter was stolen from a 1995 Toyota 4Runner.

BURDETTE CT., 7300 block, 5:45 p.m. May 28. A man banged on a door of a residence, looked inside windows and tried to kick in a door. He fled in a white four-door Honda.

CHERSHIRE TERR., 10300 block, 10 p.m. May 25 to 8 a.m. May 26. An unlocked vehicle was searched. Nothing was reported missing.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 10800 block, 11:30 a.m. May 29. A male bumped against a female as he was opening a door for her in a stairwell. The female discovered that her wallet was missing.

FAYETTE RD., 3200 block, 10:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 29. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

GRUBB RD., 8200 block, 1 to 6:30 a.m. May 26. A satellite radio, several CDs and a watch were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

HAMPTON MILL TERR., 10800 block, 2 a.m. May 26. Two people were seen inside a closed clubhouse. Police detained two people nearby. Nothing was reported missing.

HELMSDALE RD., 7400 block, 2:30 p.m. June 1. A man entered a vehicle and fled when confronted by its owner.

KENTBURY DR., 8200 block, 9 a.m. May 27 to 7:30 p.m. May 28. Property was stolen from a garage entered by force.

LYNNHURST ST., 7200 and 7400 blocks, 7 p.m. May 25 to 7:30 a.m. May 26. Three unlocked vehicles were entered. Cash was stolen from two of them.

NEBEL ST., 11700 block, 4:30 p.m. May 29 to 7:45 p.m. May 30. A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.

SHEPHARD ST., 3500 block, 5 p.m. May 25 to 2 p.m. May 26. Cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

SPRING ST., 1100 block, 3:20 a.m. May 27. Police responding to a report of a person dancing naked in the roadway made an arrest without incident.

ASSAULTS

COLESVILLE RD. AND GEORGIA AVE., 11 p.m. May 30 to 12:47 a.m. May 31. During an argument, a male with a knife cut a male youth on the arm. Police said they think that the incident is gang-related.

ROBBERIES

GEORGIA AND SLIGO AVENUES, 7:50 p.m. May 28. Two males attacked a pedestrian and tried to take her purse. After a struggle, the assailants fled on foot with the victim's cellphone.

HERON DR., 900 block, 5:47 p.m. May 27. Four males followed a youth, then grabbed him and robbed him of property. At 6:45 p.m., at UNIVERSITY BLVD. AND BUCKINGHAM DR., four males attacked a pedestrian, searched him and fled empty-handed. Four males were arrested. They were also charged in the earlier assault.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 9200 block, 12:20 a.m. June 1. Four men attacked a male sitting at a bus stop, knocking him to the ground.

THAYER AVE., 900 block, 12:08 a.m. May 26. Two males attacked a pedestrian, robbed him of a wallet and cellphone and fled on foot.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ATHEY RD., 15100 block, 6:28 p.m. June 1. A male youth entered a residence through an unlocked garage, took property and fled.

BLACKBURN LANE, 3900 block, 11:30 a.m. May 27 to 12:41 p.m. May 29. Property was taken from two apartments entered by force.

CEDAR VIEW CT., 1600 block, 8:30 a.m. May 27 to 2:30 p.m. June 1. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

COLERIDGE DR., 2200 block, 9:15 p.m. May 25. A male knocked on a residence's front door, then went to the back and tried to enter the property through a window. Nothing was reported missing.

ELTON RD., 1700 block, 6:30 p.m. May 29 to 2 p.m. May 30. An attempt was made to enter three office suites by force.

GIST AVE., 700 block, 9 p.m. May 26 to 6 a.m. May 27. Property was stolen from the storage area of a residence entered through an unlocked door.

LADSON RD., 300 block, 3 to 6:15 p.m. May 27. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

QUEBEC TERR., 1000 block, 11:32 a.m. May 28. A resident returned home to find a male in the kitchen. The intruder fled through a kitchen window. Nothing was reported missing.

WIRE AVE., 9100 block, 7 p.m. May 27 to 8 a.m. May 30. A bicycle was stolen from a residence's open garage.

13TH ST., 8000 block, 5:45 a.m. to 10:10 p.m. May 29. An unlocked residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 2:30 a.m. May 30. A person with a knife attacked a person near a retail store. No injuries were reported.

VEIRS MILL RD., 11000 block, May 25. A person with a handgun threatened a person at a fast-food restaurant. An arrest was made.

BEL PRE RD. AND GEORGIA AVE., 1:22 p.m. May 30. During a dispute, a person robbed an acquaintance. An arrest was made.

HOLDRIDGE RD. AND URBANA DR., 2 a.m. May 25. Two males attacked a person and fled with property.

PEAR TREE LANE, 14200 block, 1:40 a.m. May 28. A person with a baseball bat attacked a person and fled with property. An arrest was made.

DELCRIS DR. AND E. VILLAGE AVE., 9:55 p.m. June 2. Two men, one armed with a gun, attacked a male at a bus stop. The victim ran off, and the assailants fled empty-handed.

DOCENA DR., 9800 block, 4:30 p.m. May 31 to 6:30 a.m. June 1. Loose change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

HUNGERFORD DR. AND FREDERICK RD., 10:11 p.m. May 29. During a traffic stop, brass knuckles were found in a vehicle. A Delmar, Md., man, 20, was charged with illegal possession of a weapon.

ASSAULTS

WASHINGTON AND VINSON STREETS, 1:35 a.m. June 6. A 21-year-old Darnestown man was charged with second-degree assault and resisting arrest in connection with an incident at this location.

1ST ST., 1200 block, 10:55 p.m. June 4. A 60-year-old man was charged with first- and second-degree domestic assault.

ROBBERIES

BRADLEY AVE. AND RADFORD CT., 10:15 p.m. June 6. A man, 19, was charged with armed robbery.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BURGUNDY DR., 600 block, 7 to 10 a.m. June 7. A laptop, several rings and a gold necklace were stolen from a residence entered by force.

CALVIN LANE, 500 block, 7:30 p.m. June 6 to 7:30 a.m. June 7. Cash and property including earrings, a ring, a necklace, a pendant on a chain, two pins and four brooches, a DVD player and a backpack were stolen from a residence entered by force.

CRABB AVE., 500 block, 1 to 1:30 a.m. June 7. A cooler containing two impact guns, two air ratchets and an air drill was stolen from an unlocked shed.

DENHAM CT., 1 to 100 block, 11:29 to 11:39 a.m. June 2. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

FREDERICK RD., 15100 block, midnight to 7:54 a.m. June 3. A gas station was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

GREAT FALLS RD., 600 block, 8:30 p.m. June 1. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from a vehicle.

GUDE DR. E., 1300 block, 11:23 a.m. June 2. A Gaithersburg man, 23, was charged with theft in connection with an incident at this location.

HOWARD AVE., 300 block, 8:33 to 8:36 p.m. June 5. A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle in an auto repair shop parking lot.

LINCOLN ST., 800 block, 10:30 a.m. June 6 to 10:30 a.m. June 7. An attempt was made to break into a residence.

LOFSTRAND LANE, 600 block, 4:45 p.m. June 2 to 10:45 a.m. June 3. A computer monitor and keyboard, a mouse and six crates of food items were stolen from a warehouse entered by forcing a front door.

MARYLAND AVE., 1 to 100 block, 4 to 4:05 p.m. June 2. A wallet was stolen from a library patron.

READING AVE., 300 block, 3:30 p.m. June 5 to 7:45 a.m. June 6. Two power drills were stolen from an unlocked toolbox in a vehicle.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 200 block, 5:30 p.m. June 1 to 8 a.m. June 2. A digital music player and charger, headphones, and a USB cable and case were stolen from an unsecured file cabinet in an office.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 800 block, 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. June 2. A Germantown man, 18, and a Germantown woman, 26, were arrested in connection with an incident at this location. The man was charged with shoplifting, destruction of property and resisting arrest. The woman was charged with conspiracy to commit theft and with furnishing alcohol to a minor.

VANDERGRIFT AVE., 5900 block, 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 6. A jewelry box containing earrings, a pendant with a gold chain, a watch and a bracelet were stolen from a residence entered by force.

VEIRS MILL RD., 600 block, 12:30 p.m. May 31. Cash was stolen from a person at a church.

VEIRS MILL RD., 11:15 a.m. to 12:27 p.m. June 4. A 17-year-old Wheaton female was charged with shoplifting.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 7600 block, 1:34 p.m. June 6. A man was charged with indecent exposure and with making a false statement to a police officer.

ASSAULTS

FLOWER AVE., 8600 block, 9:40 p.m. June 7. A person threatened and assaulted a person. Police said it was a domestic incident and that an arrest warrant is pending.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

WESTMORELAND AVE., 7000 block, 8:50 a.m. June 10. Property was taken from a vehicle entered by smashing a window. A man was seen fleeing with the property in a red sports car driven by another male.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

NEW HAMSPHIRE AVE., 7000 block, 11:20 p.m. June 4 to 12:22 a.m. June 5. A 1998 Jeep Cherokee was stolen.

4TH AVE., 6400 block, 1:50 to 2 a.m. June 5. A 2004 Dodge Intrepid was stolen.
