Presidential Pest Buzzes No More
-- You may like President Barack Obama and think that he's a nice guy. But one thing you can't say about him is that he "wouldn't hurt a fly."
That's because the president killed a fly during a national television interview this week.
The fly started buzzing around the president's head Tuesday during an interview with CNBC's John Harwood. At first the president tried to ignore the fly, then he gave the insect a presidential order: "Get out of here."
The fly didn't obey. So when it landed on his left hand, the president smacked it hard with his right, and the fly fell dead to the floor.
Obama continued his interview, saying, "Now where were we?"
When the interview was over, the president picked the fly off the floor with a tissue.
