Errol Flynn's Grandsons Sean Flynn and Luke Flynn
Flynn: The New Generation
Errol Flynn's grandson Sean Flynn, 19, was for four seasons a tween heartthrob on the Nickelodeon series "Zoey 101," with Jamie Lynn Spears. But the Flynn features were partly obscured by his trademark flowing dark locks on "Zoey."
"Now with a crew cut and the facial hair I've got going, you can see the resemblance better!" Sean said, chuckling. "But right now I'm concentrating on a singing career." Sean's grandmother is Nora Eddington, Flynn's second wife.
During a photo shoot a few years ago, Errol Flynn's third wife, actress Patrice Wymore, saw her grandson dressed as Flynn: "When Luke came out on the terrace, I almost had a heart attack he looked so much like his grandfather!" Wymore said.
Luke Flynn, now 33, is 6-foot-3, an inch taller than Errol Flynn and with dashing looks that might have made his granddad jealous. Luke has worked as a model for much of his life but also has dabbled in films. He co-wrote a screenplay of Flynn's pre-Hollywood adventures that he hopes someday will become a movie.
"It's based on the book 'Beam Ends,' which my grandfather wrote," said Luke, who has considered playing the role of his granddad. The book, published in 1937, describes Flynn's voyage to New Guinea.
