I strongly suggest that The Post hire sports reporters who are satisfied with reporting the results, highlights and nuances of the game rather than those who editorialize. In this difficult season for the Washington Nationals, the staff writers increasingly feel the need to tell readers that the team is embarrassing or, even if it wins, that the game was boring.

I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed the team's "dull" extra-innings win against the Toronto Blue Jays on June 19 and appreciate the effort given by a team that is struggling to find the right balance of pitching, defense and timely hitting.
