Offensive lineman Kraig Urbik, the first of the Pittsburgh Steelers' three third-round draft picks, has signed a three-year contract.

The Steelers have eight of their nine picks under contract after signing Urbik on Monday. Their only unsigned draft choice is first-rounder Ziggy Hood, a defensive end from Missouri.

The 6-foot-5, 328-pound Urbik played both right guard and right tackle at Wisconsin, making 50 starts. He is expected to play right guard for Pittsburgh, competing with starter Darnell Stapleton and backup Trai Essex.

The Steelers chose Urbik with No. 79 overall pick following a draft day trade with the Denver Broncos.
