Dale City Area
ASSAULTS
DALE BLVD., 2800 block, 3 p.m. June 14. A man in a parking lot allegedly forced a female acquaintance into his vehicle and would not allow her to leave. After a period of time, he released her. A 34-year-old King George, Va., man was arrested.
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
BONNEVILLE LANE, 4600 block, 10:50 to 11:30 p.m. June 16. Someone attempted to enter a residence by breaking a rear basement window.
FINDLEY RD., 3800 block, 10 p.m. June 14 to 4 p.m. June 15. A machete, a box of ammunition and a safe were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear window.
LANGLEY CT., 13700 block, 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. June 16. A residence was entered by breaking a rear door. Nothing was reported stolen.
LINSEY CT., 4900 block, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. June 16. A residence was entered by breaking a rear bedroom window. Nothing was reported stolen.
LONDONDERRY CT., 13800 block, 8:15 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. June 16. A laptop computer was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear door.
MEADOWBROOK RD., 13800 block, 6:30 to 9:46 p.m. June 16. A handgun, a video game system and a DVD player were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear window.
NORTH PARK CT., 14300 block, 9:15 a.m. June 18. Police officers and detectives who were patrolling the area after several thefts found a man hiding inside a residence. Within the past six months, the man had allegedly entered three other residences and had taken property. A 24-year-old man was arrested.
PELICAN RD., 13300 block, 7 p.m. June 13 to 10 p.m. June 16. A handgun and ammunition were stolen from a vehicle.
