The Freedom Museum will celebrate July Fourth (and its 10th anniversary) in a special way this year. The open house, honoring "America's 20th-century heroes," will feature events from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., including:

-- Discussions with World War II veterans.

-- Videotaping of oral histories with veterans from World War II and other 20th-century conflicts.

-- A free luncheon at noon for veterans and their families.

-- A salute to Bob Hope and his USO tours.

-- A display of aviation memorabilia by state Sen. Chuck Colgan, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.

-- Patriotic and period music.

-- Children's games and entertainment.
