A Silver Spring man was fatally shot yesterday night at a Langley Park apartment building, and police say they believe the slaying stemmed from a "personal dispute."
Christopher Damean Wright, 29, was found dead in the 8200 block of New Hampshire Avenue after police responded to reports of gunshots in the area. Police said in a news release that investigators believe the homicide occurred "as a result of a personal dispute," but declined to provide details.
Wright's grandmother, Kattie Crosson, said Wright went to the Langley Park area to meet with a former boss who said he might be able to help Wright find a job. Crosson said she did not know the circumstances of the shooting.
