Given all the important events happening in our community, in the country and around the world, I'm appalled that on June 25 The Post devoted no fewer than eight writers to penning two articles, two op-eds and two other columns about South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford's admission that he had an affair.

Yes, the event was newsworthy, but as a loyal daily subscriber, I don't appreciate paying for repetitive stories about yet another politician's confession of infidelity.
