The team on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (NBC at 9) investigates after a con man -- who lures lonely, single women into his schemes -- winds up with a dead partner.

"History Detectives" (WETA and MPT at 9) looks into some particularly unpleasant keepsakes, such as a gun that was possibly used in the St. Valentine's Day Massacre, a threatening letter to Andrew Jackson and a device used to trip up grave robbers.

Brenda hits a snag in a murder investigation on "The Closer" (TNT at 9) when a gang member may not have been the target of violence after all, and the community turns on her when they think the LAPD doesn't care about crime in lower-class neighborhoods.

Just before the remake hits theaters this fall, TCM goes behind the scenes on the famous 1980 musical during "On Location With 'Fame' " (at 9:40).

"Here Come the Newlyweds" (ABC at 10) forces the couples to look into the future by thinking about their 10th anniversaries, and the husbands give the wives a shock after getting makeovers to look 40 years older.

Which is more difficult: Making a cake replica of a prehistoric mammal or a cake for a Sweet 16? The bakers on "Cake Boss" (TLC at 10) must attempt both creations.

Kathy plans a tell-all memoir about her life; however, feeling guilty about the many mom anecdotes, she takes her mother to California wine country on "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List" (Bravo at 10).

VH1 poses crucial pop culture questions in new series "The Great Debate" (at 10), starting with tonight's query -- is Danny Zuko from "Grease" or Tony Manero from "Saturday Night Fever" the sexiest John Travolta movie character?

"Nurse Jackie" (Showtime at 10:30) breaks all the hospital rules, as usual, when she helps out a family in which a 10-year-old daughter is her mother's main caregiver.

After defending a woman charged with drug possession, Jerry runs into trouble with Michelle's police officer boyfriend on "Raising the Bar" (TNT at 10).

Actress Hayden Panettiere is on "Late Show With David Letterman" (CBS at 11:35), along with musical guest Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band.

"The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien" (NBC at 11:35) has game show host Howie Mandel, actress Alanis Morissette (who is guest-starring on "Weeds") and a performance by Death Cab for Cutie.
