OAKLYN DR., 10000 block, 1:39 to 3:35 p.m. June 15. An aggravated assault occurred. Police said that it was a domestic incident.

VEIRS MILL AND RANDOLPH ROADS, 5:08 p.m. June 20. A man harassed a female inside a restaurant and threatened a male who tried to intervene with a box cutter. A man was arrested at the scene.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ATLANTIC AVE., 13000 block, 10:45 p.m. June 22 to 9:30 a.m. June 23. Property was stolen from a community pool entered by force.

BICKFORD AVE., 500 block, 1:15 to 2:20 p.m. June 15. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

HARVEST SQUARE CT., 8900 block, 5:30 to 6 p.m. June 21. A purse and a cellphone were stolen from an unlocked vehicle. Three males were seen leaving the area in a black SUV.

KING FARM AREA, June 18 to June 19. Cash, several GPS devices and wallets were among items stolen from 14 vehicles, some of which were entered by force.

LAKE CHRISTOPHER DR., 5600 and 5700 blocks, 9:30 a.m. June 16 to 6:56 a.m. June 17. A wallet and cash were among property stolen from two unlocked vehicles.

MILL RUN DR., 7200 block, 7 p.m. June 17 to 8 a.m. June 18. Property was stolen from a swim center entered by force.

PARKLAWN DR., 12400 block, 12:58 a.m. June 20. Property was stolen from a vehicle parked behind a restaurant. Two people fled the scene when confronted by a passerby.

KENILWORTH AVE., 10600 block, 1:45 a.m. June 19. A man seen looking into a window at a residence fled when an occupant saw him and screamed.

ASSAULTS

DEMOCRACY BLVD., 7100 block, 4:40 p.m. June 22. A person in a public restroom struck a man in the face and fled. The assailant and victim had been involved in a dispute earlier in the day.

EAST WEST HWY. AND GRUBB RD., 7:15 p.m. June 20. A male with a knife threatened a group of people waiting at a bus stop. A short time later, a male was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

WISCONSIN AVE., 5400 block, 10 a.m. June 20. A gunman robbed a bank.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

GREENTREE CT., 2:30 a.m. June 21. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

KENSINGTON PKWY., 10300 block, 1 a.m. June 23. Police making a traffic stop discovered property stolen from a garden center in the vehicle. An arrest was made.

LARRY PL., 8200 block, 11:47 p.m. June 17. A person tried to break into a residence but was interrupted and arrested when someone spotted him and called police.

MONTGOMERY LANE, 4900 block, 11 p.m. June 15. A bicycle was stolen from an unlocked garage at a residence.

SPRINGFIELD DR., 6000 block, 11 p.m. June 18 to 9 a.m. June 19. Property was stolen from a church.

ABDUCTIONS

UNIVERSITY BLVD. AND DENNIS AVE., 7:45 p.m. June 17. Two men grabbed a female pedestrian, ripped her shirt and attempted to grab her legs. Someone witnessed the attack and chased the assailants but did not catch them. One of the attackers is described as having a gold tooth.

ROBBERIES

BLAIR MILL RD. AND EASTERN AVE., 5:35 a.m. June 19. Two males with a handgun demanded cash from a man sitting in his vehicle. One of the robbers opened the car door, searched the man and ordered him out of the vehicle. The assailants fled, and the stolen vehicle was recovered in the District an hour later.

CAMERON ST., 8600 block, 1:30 a.m. June 18. Two males accosted a person at gunpoint, searched his pockets, took cash and a cellphone and fled.

ELLSWORTH DR. AND CEDAR ST., 1:37 to 2:30 a.m. June 18. Two males accosted a man, pointed a gun at him, searched his pockets and took cash and a cellphone and fled.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 10200 block, 11:11 p.m. June 15. A gunman described as being at least 6-foot-3 robbed a carry-out restaurant and fled in a sedan.

PINEY BRANCH RD., 8900 block, 11:57 a.m. June 22. Three males grabbed a man, searched his pockets and took cash. The assailants fled on foot.

PINEY BRANCH RD., 9300 block, 11:55 p.m. June 19. Two men punched a man and hit him with a stick after he refused to surrender cash. The assailants fled empty-handed.

TEAGARDEN CIR., 3300 block, 9:08 p.m. June 21. A male snatched a digital music player from a male and fled. An arrest was made.

UNIVERSITY BLVD. AND PINEY BRANCH RD., 11 p.m. June 22. Several people attacked a male after asking him for a dollar. The victim defended himself with a knife and was able to detain one of the assailants, while the rest fled. An arrest was made.

WALDEN RD. AND ARLISS ST., 2:20 p.m. June 18. A group of at least four males demanded that a male surrender a bicycle. When he resisted, they knocked him down, took personal property and fled on foot.

AVENEL RD., 9400 block, 7:12 to 11 a.m. June 15. Property was stolen from a residence.

BENDER CT., 4400 block, 8:30 to 10 p.m. June 18. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

CHERRY HILL RD., 11400 block, 1 a.m. June 19. An attempt was made to break into a residence.

COLGATE WAY, 13700 block, 12:25 p.m. June 15. A resident returned home and confronted two men, who fled with property. There was no sign of forced entry.

EASTWOOD AVE., 10400 block, 8:50 p.m. June 15. Property was taken from a residence entered by force. A man was seen fleeing with the property.

GILBERT PL., 8700 block, 7 to 10 a.m. June 15. An attempt was made to break into a residence.

LUZERNE AVE., EAST INDIAN SPRINGS, DARROW AND FARROW STREETS, GREEN HOLLY TERR. AND FAIRVIEW RD., 4 p.m. June 15 to 5 a.m. June 19. Items including tools, electronic equipment, cash and cellphones were stolen from eight vehicles, five of which had been left unlocked.

MCKNEW RD., 15000 block, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 22. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

PINEY BRANCH RD., 9000 block, 4:15 to 6 p.m. June 20. Property was stolen from a residence.

TANLEY RD., TAMPICA WAY, NORA, SUMMERWOOD AND TRACY DRIVES, AND NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., June 16 to June 17. Property including GPS devices and airbags was among items stolen from 16 vehicles, 12 of which were entered by force.

THISTLE DR., 200 block, 9 a.m. to 1:54 p.m. June 18. An attempt was made to break into a residence.

THISTLEWOOD TERR., 4200 block, 5:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 22. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

VALIANT TERR., 14700 block, 8 a.m. June 16 to 8 a.m. June 17. An attempt was made to break into a residence.

DULANEY PL., 3400 block, 3:50 a.m. June 22. A man broke into an occupied residence and fled with property when confronted.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

MCMAHON RD., 3600 block, 7:15 a.m. June 15. A man approached a pedestrian from behind and groped her. She screamed, and he fled.

CARJACKINGS

LESTER ST., 10700 block, 4:37 a.m. June 20. Three males, one of them armed, threatened a male loading items into the trunk of his car and demanded cash and the keys. The three drove away in the victim's black Suzuki Colt.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

GRAND PRE RD., 14200 block, 6:10 a.m. June 15. A peeping Tom incident occurred. A male was stopped in the area and questioned. No arrests were made.

ROBINDALE DR. AND ADRIAN ST., 4 p.m. June 16. A man followed a female after she got off a bus and exposed himself to her.

ROBBERIES

GEORGIA AVE., 11300 block, 9:30 a.m. June 18. A gunman robbed a check-cashing business. A man was arrested in the District that day.

LOCKHART PL., 11500 block, 12:45 p.m. June 15. Two males stopped a male walking home from school and asked to see his digital music player. Then they wrestled him to the ground, took the player from his pocket and fled.

BALLOWS WAY, 2000 block, 11:30 a.m. to 2:05 p.m. June 19. Property was stolen from a residence.

CENTERHILL ST., 11900 block, 1 a.m. June 16. A person returned home and saw a white Chrysler SUV and a black Cadillac sedan drive from in front of his residence. Property was missing from the residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

COLLEGE VIEW DR., 11300 block, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 19. Property was stolen from a residence.

DALEWOOD DR., 12100 block, 1 to 1:45 a.m. June 15. Property was stolen from a residence.

GEORGIA AVE., 12100 block, 5 to 9:30 p.m. June 20. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

CHALET PL., 13200 block, 2:30 a.m. June 20. During an argument between two people, a person was stabbed in the calf. An arrest was made at the scene.

KINSTER AND CRYSTAL ROCK DRIVES, 12:01 to 12:30 a.m. June 16. An attempt was made to steal a 2008 Ford Truck by tampering with the ignition.

ROSEBAY DR., 13100 block, 8:30 p.m. June 15 to 10:15 p.m. June 16. An attempt was made to steal a 2005 Dodge Caravan by tampering with the ignition.

SHADYSIDE LANE, 13000 block, 8 p.m. June 15 to 9:30 a.m. June 16. A 2007 RSV motorcycle was stolen.

SHADYSIDE LANE, 20600 block, 8 p.m. June 15 to 9:30 a.m. June 16. A 2005 Honda F4i motorcycle was stolen.

HILLSIDE LAKE TERR., 1000 block, 11:30 a.m. June 17. A male with a handgun threatened an acquaintance. A male was charged with aggravated assault.

QUINCE ORCHARD BLVD., 800 block, June 15. Bottles were thrown into an occupied vehicle. The assailants fled and were arrested after a short chase that began at a grocery store at Quince Orchard Boulevard and Clopper Road. Arrests were made.

SUMMIT DR. N., 10:30 p.m. June 18. A person armed with a knife attacked an acquaintance. A person was charged with aggravated assault.

ROBBERIES

BOOTH ST., 100 block, 5:47 p.m. June 16. Several people attacked an acquaintance they had accompanied to a bank as he withdraw money. After beating him, they fled with cash.

FREDERICK AVE. N., 400 block, 8:10 a.m. June 17. A male with a knife took a purse from a woman in a vehicle. An arrest was made nearby.

MONTGOMERY VILLAGE AVE., 19300 block, 7:45 p.m. June 17. A male robbed a person of a donations container. When the victim gave chase, four males joined the assailant and robbed the person of a wallet. The five then fled on foot.

CARRIAGE WALK CT., 7 a.m. June 22. A male entered an occupied residence and fled with a laptop computer when confronted.

DELCRIS DR., 8700 block, 5:26 p.m. June 21. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

ASSAULTS

COLLEGE PKWY., 500 block, 2:41 p.m. June 27. A man, 34, was charged with second-degree domestic assault.

HUNGERFORD DR., 700 block, 8:40 p.m. June 27. A Frederick man, 44, was charged with first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1700 block, 1:01 a.m. June 21. An Easton, Pa., man, 28, was arrested. Charges included second-degree assault, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of controlled-dangerous-substance paraphernalia and making a false statement to a police officer.

SHADY GROVE RD., 16000 block, 2:05 to 2:25 a.m. June 29. A Gaithersburg man, 24, was charged with second-degree assault on a police officer.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ANDERSON AVE., 700 block, 11:50 June 22 to 10:58 p.m. June 23. A GPS device was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

ARDENNES AVE., 13200 block, 1 p.m. June 26 to 5:17 a.m. June 27. Property including a toolbox and a tool set, two band saws, a skill saw and three other saws, two drills, four screw guns, a grinder, two framing nailers, an impact gun, two socket sets, a palm sander, a biscuit maker and a vacuum cleaner were stolen from a residential shed entered by force.

ATLANTIC AVE., 13000 block, 10:45 p.m. June 22 to 9:30 a.m. June 23. A six-pack of beer was stolen from a community-pool office entered by force.

FORTUNE TERR., 300 block, 11:40 p.m. June 26 to 5:24 p.m. June 27. Cash was stolen from a restaurant. There was no sign of forced entry.

GRANDIN CIR., 1 to 100 block, 11 p.m. June 21 to 7 a.m. June 22. A string trimmer, a hedge trimmer and a leaf blower were stolen from a vehicle.

HUNGERFORD RD., 600 block, 10:33 a.m. June 28. A man, 27, was charged with shoplifting.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1600 block, 12:30 to 6:32 p.m. June 22. A bicycle and a helmet were stolen from a retail store.

TAFT CT., 1 to 100 block, 1 p.m. June 26. A CPU unit and two laptop computers were stolen from an office building.

TEMPLETON PL., 1300 block, 8:30 p.m. June 21 to 6:30 a.m. June 25. A laptop computer and several pieces of jewelry were stolen from a residence.

TWINBROOK PKWY., 200 block, 8:30 p.m. June 24 to 7 a.m. June 25. Two lawn cushions and a thermometer were stolen from a carport.

HOUSTON AVE., 600 block, 5:01 p.m. June 20. A man, 50, was charged with first- and second-degree assault and intent to injure with a dangerous weapon.

LOCKNEY AVE., 7800 block, 2:40 a.m. July 2. A man was charged with first- and second-degree assault, false imprisonment, reckless endangerment, theft under $500, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia.

ROBBERIES

CARROLL AVE., 7200 block, 11:10 p.m. June 30. A male got out of a black four-door vehicle, possibly a Ford Crown Victoria, and demanded property from a female pedestrian. She ran, and the assailant got back in the vehicle and drove away empty-handed.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BOSTON AVE., 7400 block, 12:01 a.m. June 30 to 8 a.m. July 1. Property was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.
