Ford's Theatre Museum Reopening After nearly two years and millions of dollars in renovations, the Ford's Theatre Museum has reopened. Shhhh! The official reopening isn't until Wednesday, but through Sunday, you can get a sneak peek at the exhibitions detailing the night Lincoln died, from the clothes he wore to the gun that was used to kill him. The museum's new focus puts Lincoln's death into the larger story about his life in Washington. If you visit before Wednesday, some exhibits might not be completed, but you can say you saw it first. Beginning Wednesday, free timed-entry tickets will be distributed beginning at 8:30 a.m. daily for a self-guided tour of the museum. Ford's Theatre, 511 10th St. NW (Metro: Metro Center). 202-434-9548 or http://www.fords.org.

Look for a review of the museum in next Friday's Weekend.
