Teen Fatally Shot Near Nationals Stadium

A 16-year-old was shot yesterday about a block from Nationals Stadium and died later at a nearby hospital, D.C. police said yesterday.
Kevin D. Allen of Northwest Washington was found lying in an alley on the unit block of N Street SW after the shooting about 12:30 p.m. He was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police did not know last night of any motives or suspects in the case, police spokesman Quinton Peterson said.
