On behalf of myself and Tiger Woods's many fans, I want to thank him for bringing a wonderful golf tournament to the Washington area ["The Host With the Most," Sports, July 6].
The AT&T National tournament perfectly showed Mr. Woods's generosity, professionalism and charisma. Every detail at the tournament was attended to. Buses were readily available and efficiently loaded, concession services were great, the ushers were polite and helpful, and the players were courteous. It was a thrill for me to see Tiger Woods in person. He is a gentleman with an enormous heart.
