'Potter' Fans, Get Ready to Write

-- Tomorrow is the big day.

After disappointing delays and countless previews, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," the sixth movie in the saga of the boy wizard, comes to theaters.

The Style and Weekend sections will have reviews of the movie (check out those sections today and Friday). But let's be fair: "HP 6" is a movie that should be reviewed by the experts. By people who have read all the books in the series multiple times, people who know what scenes from each book were left out of the movies, people who have been counting down the days on their calendars. In short, by KIDS.

Well, KidsPost is giving you that chance. See the movie and send us your review before 9 a.m. Monday (July 20) to kidspost@washpost.com. We will publish a selection of the reviews we receive in next Tuesday's KidsPost. Keep your review short (no more than 75 words). Don't bother summarizing the plot; we all know it. Focus instead on one aspect of the movie. For example, tell us:

-- Who was the best (or worst) actor and why?

-- What was the scariest part?

-- What scene was your favorite or least favorite?

-- What scene from the book should not have been left out of the movie?

Finally, give it a number of stars, from 0 to 4, with 0 being "ruddy horrible" and 4 being "bloody brilliant." Please ask a parent's permission before sending us an e-mail. Include your complete name, age, home town and a phone number where we can reach you if we have any questions.
